I nodded, "That makes sense..." I said and grabbed a cupcake, which fell to the ground. I paused and looked at it sadly, since nopony would be able to see the tears in my eyes anyways, "Nooo~! I CAN'T EAT CUPCAKES OR MUFFINS!!!" I cried out in distress. "WHY CRUEL PLANTS, WHY?!?"

I stopped pushing Riley after hearing his suggestion. "Okay, I don't know how far it is from here, but I'll get there as fast as I can." I took off running into the forest, my pony body actually useful for a second time.

I don't know how long I was running for. I stopped and took a breather when Zecora's hut was in sight.

"Good luck!" I called to Stoneheart as she took off into the forest.

 

I looked at Storm Shine's display, and taking pity on my dear friend, I decided to do something about it. Slowly but surely, I was able to reach my wing down to use it to hold the cupcake. "Here you go, Storm!" I said.

I sniffled as I looked at the cupcake in Riley's hoof. "I wish I could... But It would just fall right through me again!" I said sadly, pouting slightly. "Thanks for trying though Riley..." I continued, giving my friend a small smile. "I would say you should eat it, but I'm not sure how that would affect your- Ehem- situation..." I told him, giving a small chuckle.

Spark was getting closer to zecoras hut but he felt like he was being watched he continued on spark whipped around only to find the path he had been walking he turned back around zecoras couldn't be too much farther as spark continued he suddenly turned around again to find the same path as spark turned around he fell face first on the ground and was dragged back a few feet and lifted up spark saw a mass of living vines curling around a large tree some of the vines were holding him spark wanted to draw his sword but his hooves here tied together then he remembered somthing and cursed him self for not noticing it sooner spark turned his head and just as he had suspected a metal claw folded inside a canvas bag on his back he pressed th button to activate it the claw was controlled with nueral transmitters so he used it to draw his sword and make one long slash accross the vines he didn't feel any resistance as the sword was swung as it was razor shrap when spark dropped he sheathed the sword and ran as fast as he could to zecoras hut when he got there he opened the door and the slammed it shut "zecora!?" he called

"I think you only dropped it from trying to pick it up," said Riley. "I think you'd still be able to eat it if it ended up in your mouth. My basis is that Poison Joke only wants a prank. Not being able to eat is dangerous! I don't think Poison Joke would do something that could end up with you starving to death."

 

"Also, maybe if you're in a place where you can't get help, it doesn't affect you until you're in a safer place."

I made the vapor equivalent of a shrug, "Worth a try, I guess..." I replied with a smile, reaching out and nomming on the cupcake. "Hwey! It fworked!" I exclaimed happily through the cupcake in my 'mouth'. "Ywayth! I'm nwot going to hwaf to go wifout cwupwaketh and mwuffinth after all!" I cried out through the 'mouthful' of cupcake.

I clapped my hooves for Storm Shine. "Awesome!" I said. "Just ask me if you get hungry in cloud form."

 

"Now, I think I'll try something," I went on. I flapped my wings with all my might in an attempt to get off the ground. I succeeded in getting an inch off before I landed, making a pounding sound and two shallow craters in the ground.

"Pfft- BWahhahahahhahaha~!" I couldn't help it, I just about collapsed into a literal puddle of laughter. "J-just imagine somepony flying along, and they see this and be like.. 'Who left a butt-print in the forest?' Hahahhehehah..." I said, finally managing to calm my laughter to quiet chuckling.

I looked at the print I had made, and burst out into laughter just like Storm. "Totally!" I agree. "This form certainly does have its advantages! If we're gonna be here forever, I'll look at that print and be reminded of today."

 

I looked at my friend in puddle form. "You'd better get up befoe you get soaked into the ground..."

I quickly snapped myself back into the air in fright, "Yikes! I don't wanna be part of the ground!" I exclaimed with a slight tone of panic, "Thanks Riley, I didn't even think about that...." I told my friend gratefully. "I wonder when Stoneheart is gonna get back with Zecora...." I mused aloud, my nebulous form twisting in the air.

I quickly continued on my way and ran into Zecora's hut. "Zecora! I need your help!"

I quickly trotted back with Zecora behind me. I would run again but I didn't want to leave Zecora behind. She didn't bring anything to cure them, so the cure might not be just a potion.

"Let me see here..." I said, reaching a 'hoof' under my 'wing' "Ah!" I called, as a chocolate muffin and a chocolate cupcake feel towards Chain. "Well, that works too I guess..." I commented as the baked goods fell towards my friend. "Though it would be nice to be able to pick things up...." I mused in slight disappointment.

"well thanks anyway" trys to pick the cupcake up and put it in his mouth but when he does something wierd happens in his body "my stomach is gone and so are my intestines so" the cupcake drops out of him "well I am a plant so I need water and sun to live...I want to go back to normal"

"Amazing, Storm Shine!" I complimented my cloud friend as I reached forward to grab a muffin. I tasted it. "Mmm..." I say. "Er, a slight hint of armpit, though," I joked.

 

"Is it just muffins and cupcakes you can get?" I asked. "Or is it other food too? Or anything, really."

 

"I shouldn't have any beans, though... not while I'm like this, anyway..." I looked back at my tremendous hind.

I scratched my 'head' with a 'hoof' as I thought about Riley's question, "Umm.... I dunno..." I told him, "I never really thought about it.... I'm not sure how I do these things, when I don't even think about half of what I do..." I continued thoughtfully, looking up and rubbing my 'mane' which caused a porcelain kitchen sink to fall to the ground. I continued to look up, not even registering the fallen item.

I just watched as the porcelain kitchen sink fell to the ground. My only thought was, 'And to think we've been paying for stuff all this time!'

I began to snicker at Storm Shine's remark, but then became very concerned when I saw Poison Joke growing on Chain.

 

I reached down and picked up two conveniently placed sticks and used them to grasp the Poison Joke's stem. "I swear to Celestia, I am not tearing it off," I said, "Just keeping it away so that it doesn't touch you."

 

"Come to think of it though, I wonder if Poison Joke works on somepony already under its effects..."

I looked at Riley, then to the Poison Joke growing on Chain, and then back to Riley. "I don't that using those sticks to keep the Poison Joke from touching Chain is really working, considering that it's already attached to him..." I pointed out, looking at the plant.

"The stem is already attached to him," I agreed. "But the head of the plant hasn't made contact with his body yet. There's always the possibility that Poison Joke only works when you touch the blue part of it."

 

"I could be wrong, but if I am, well, I'm not making it any worse than it already is."

"Well, I guess that's definitely a possibility..." I agreed, "And it's probably better to be safe, than it is to be sorry..." I continued thoughtfully, scratching at my 'chin' which ended up causing a shower of jelly-beans to fall to the ground. Though I took no notice of this, becoming lost in my thoughts.
