Well, I've never RPed as a canon. I mean I could, if you want I'll come up with that paragraph requirement for ya. Any Canon you want me to try in particular?

 

And here is my second character. I want to point out his back story does not come in two paragraphs. I unfortunately couldn't think of any extension.

Canon Im not to sure quite. I just wanted to know if you could do it. For example do you think you could RP any of the princesses? (More likely Twilight and/or Cadence, but possibly either Luna or Celestia?)

I'll give you an example with Princess Luna. And okay then, I'll see about adding more. I'm hesitant of adding to a characters bio because I feel I don't want to give out too much info.

 

You know, have them feel curious about the character rather then his entire life experience readable on the profile. But I'll add on to character. Give some time.

Well I understand wanting to make people feel curious about your character, but It also needs to be balanced with the Time-god-mod principle (Just came up with that term) I've had it in the past where people have given me really short bios and then later on in the RP they came up with this elaborate story that wasn't even mentioned in the original bio. You see, they altered their character's history because they didn't go into detail with it in the first place. I'll even put an example up.

 

Example: History - Warrior from northern tribesponies. Barbarian society.

 

In the RP - A random NPC shows up and tells the group that this warrior barbarian tribespony's father died and he is now the chief of all the clans. (or something along those lines.)

I don't like people adding things to their character's history on a whim. It disrupts the RP and generally leads to the quality going downhill. Thats why I always have such high expectations (Though I've seriously toned them down on this site) for RP histories and their characters. I like everything laid out so I can go back and see with what you've done in the RP correlates with what has been done in your history.
