gaming Sly Cooper Series

I just got a PS3 (yeah that's right, a 3) for Christmas (also correct) earlier this month. It came with Lego Batman 3 and Sly Cooper 1-3. 1 to me was enjoyable, but I can't say I'm completely in love with it.

 

I'm almost completely finished with the first mission in 1, and that's been far more entertaining. I'm looking forward to 3, but I'll probably finish Final Fantasy 9 first, since it was the entire reason for getting a PS3 in the first place.

threes pretty great, plus you get to be my main man Dimitri at one point. UuU only for like two or so missions but they're worth it. After you're done with those you should get 4.

I got handed a stack of PS3 games and got told to go play them. I'll probably get around to 4 eventually, but it'll take a hot minute.

Oooo! I haven't played the fourth one yet. I would say that the second game is my favorite out of the first three.

 

My favorite Fiendish 5 villain would be Mz. Ruby (I love her part of the first game!)

My favorite Klaww Gang villain would be the Contessa (I love her part of the second game!)

 

I like the second game mostly for the story progression. I think that having your mechanical arch nemisis being rebuilt, with all the drama that goes on with Neyla, seems richer than trying to get into a family vault. However, the third one makes up for that by having some quirky moments that made it fun- Bently singing with Octavio, climbing up a giant Carmalita, telling that yo mama joke to Mugshot...

 

I plan to play the fourth one, but my expectations aren't very high for it. The change in who developed it's the first thing that discourages me. The fact that Carmalita is shirtless is another. And the whole Penelope breaking up with Bently is a little much- they /just/ got together. But other than that, I look forward to seeing what the gameplay has to offer :3

Mz. Rubys battle is huge part of my childhood. Like you can't even begin to figure out how big of a part it was. She wasn't my fave but her battle was the best of the 5. It was like a battling version of the Parappa games. As for the Bentley/Penelope debacle. Well I don't think we really got to know Penelope well enough to know if they were truly made for each other. It was sudden yeah, but she had so little character that it was more aggravating then shocking to me. I was more like 'OH COME ON. Really. You just have this character show up in the last game, barely give her any character development and instead of making any attempts to develop her more you have her turn like that? WHAT.' Then 'Oh well that's sad, they seemed so perfect for each other.'
