Make it a timeshare network with Discovery Family ala Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. The Hub could run from 5am to 7pm for kids, with DF covering the rest for families. Nick did the same with Noggin when The N was introduced.

I think that's basically how it already works with Hasbro controlling the programming for part of the day. It's just not called the Hub anymore.

But honestly, it wold make more sense retaining The Hub brand for the daytime part, then switch to Discovery Family for the other part.

That's kind of what they're doing. Although I don't know anyone who enjoys the nighttime programming on Discovery Family. As long as I get to watch MLP I'm fine with it. I miss Dan Vs. though.
