A small observation about older Pegasi

Has anyone ever noticed that there aren't any Pegasi in the show that appear as old as Granny Smith? Out of all the episodes I have seen, I did not see a single one. lol

Actually there was a pegasus mare background pony in the Sonic Rainboom episode that looked to be around Granny Smiths age that even had a speaking role. She said to Rarity who had just gotten wings thanks to Twilights flying spell "I can watch you fly all day."

Other than Granny Smith (& a few other Apples), the only other really old looking pony is the one w the bow tie you see wandering around now & again.  Shoot, the Cakes are older than 95%  (give or take) of the other ponies you see.

Perhaps they're just unable to fly that well when they're at that age, so they stay in Cloudsdale and they don't visit Earth so often, therefore we don't see them around.

Yes, that Granny Smith clone does appear at least a couple times in the show. It's too bad that they can't be bothered to come up with a new Pegasus elderly model.

 

 

 

Perhaps they're just unable to fly that well when they're at that age

I would assume that they can't fly at some point so there must be some kind of services to take them beyond Cloudsdale.
