I'm not certain if I want to do it, but I'd like to hear what you have in mind too.  My OC is a unicorn named Nit Pick (hence the username) that's OCD, an introvert and a neat freak.

I feel like romance would work best. I've been itching to do an SOL RP, but the other forums I'm on pretty much don't allow them. Plus, there isn't much else to do with a 1x1 other than romance XD Maybe adventure or something I suppose, but as I said I've been wanting to do an SOL for quite some time.

I have to say that you (and Lektra) have, by far, met my expectations. I sort of got rid of all my OCs once I came back, but I'm working on a few ideas for some new ones at the moment and would be. One of my old OCs and one of the concepts are both inventors as well. I also have explorers, a magical prodigy, a mine worker, a couple musicians, and culinary experts. Do any of those interest you off that bat? Personalities can be worked out after the fact or now, depending on if you'd like to know personalities beforehand. Also, I'd need to know Lektra's preferences with romantic partners (i.e. gender, personality, etc.).

This is turning out wonderful XD I've rarely had a romantic relationship ever really come to anything in RPs I've been in previously, and the few that have kickstarted very fast. A much slower paced, worked up to relationship would be a nice change of pace. I'm also not one to post very often unless I'm really in the mood to RP, so being less active than most is absolutely fine!

 

Funnily enough, the concept inventor I mentioned is a lesbian mare, though she's a bit reserved around others so I don't know how well it would kick off. Then again, the stallion inventor is incredibly oblivious, so it might be tough to get something out of that. Actually, I could see a good friendship grow between them that could eventually grow into something more. The magical prodigy is more higher class in terms of personality (more sophisticated manner of speaking, high intelligence, etc).

Yea, I don't think I've ever had a successful relationship develop in any RPs I've participated in on this site. I've gotten close several times, but nothing was ever fulfilled. I'm also not too worried about it dropping off based purely off content, as I've never had too many problems with SOL RPs.

 

While Gearbox (mare inventor, literally just came up with that name now XD) is more reserved, she's also quite awkward and would probably blurt out her feelings for Lektra at some point, so there's not much to worry about there XP

 

Yea, like I said. It would take an agonizingly long time for something to come of that, since Ash (stallion) literally needs someone to tell him that he likes someone for him to realize it.

 

And don't get Dawnblink (magic guy) wrong. He's a pretty nice guy and wouldn't consider himself smarter than someone else. Unless they were real dumb, of course.

 

All in all though, I could see Gearbox and Blaze both working out a bit better than Blink, but Gear even moreso. I'll start working on a bio for her soon, although I most likely won't finish it tonight. I'll get all the basic info for her down, at least.

And no, it shouldn't be. I myself don't do that, but I'm perfectly fine if others do it.

I can tone hers down. I just generally make my OCs have a slightly older default age. 17 sound good?

 

Sounds good! Yea, Gear was born and raised in Ponyville. She lives off on her own, but fairly close to her parents.
