ooc MLP Ace Attourney RP

Playing the Ace Attorney games have made me think of doing an MLP courtroom RP.
 
I have a case in mind, I've got most of the story and logic of the case down. However, I am open to ideas for any other cases because my idea isn't too special. I also need a little help with planning.
 
I want a few players and some people willing to help me with some planning for a case, if this RP is successful I just might make more of these courtroom RP's.
 
Details and Rules
 
- This is NOT human. All characters will be OC ponies
- Also, no humans transporting to Equestria.
- This is kinda just an experiment, I already have the general idea made, however,.
- No alicorns
- Once again, I'm open to any ideas
- To keep things simple, try to only submit pony characters
- PM me for any more details

OC: Sunshine Judger. Kind of lost the IRL and i don't feel like poking around for it, so I'll just give some general information. Oh, and if it isn't kind of obvious by the name, I'd like to apply for judge.

 

Gender:Male

Age:40-ish

Talent:Handing down verdicts and looking for justice

Background:Normal-lifed pony who has had quite a boring history until he found an interest in Court. And so, he found himself as a Judge for most of them.

Personality:The complete opposite of observant. Gets distracted rather easily. Isn't all that smart, even though he means well most of the time and does anything to deciliter justice. Cheerful. Ignorant of certain things. A walking disaster

(Accidents tend to happen around him. And sometimes he isn't the victim). Well, you get the point of how he is.

Appearance:Imagine the Judge from ace attorney as an old pony in a 'coat' sort-of with a legendary white beard and sorta bald on the top of his head, with a little hair/fur on the side.

 

And to mix things up, I'll throw in an assistant aswell if thats fine. She won't be making much of an appearance, I hope, so I don't really feel the need for an OC thing. I'll probably out her in as a 'I'll help you with stuff you don't remember and slap you when you're stupid' kind of pony. Just think of her as the usual assistant/secretary type that's just smarter, wiser, more common sense, and just generally better than the original guy. I just want to go with a side of comedy, I guess. So stupid main guy from me...

Appearance: Dark grey-ish coat. Small glasses. Dark Red-ish with a small mix of purple mane/tail. Green eyes

Background: Unknown (Sorry, but to lazy for this one)

Talent: Can find most things that are out of place and finds lost things rather easily. Example; Takes five minutes to find the key to your house. Takes five seconds for her to find it.

Personality: Snarktastic. Sarcasm-lover. Hater of stupidity. Rather smart. Sneaky. Silver-tongue. Not too skilled in magic, however.

 

Yeah, got nothing more. Will develop through time.

Yes, we do need a defendant, if no one comes she can fill that spot or even I could come up with an OC to fill that spot.

 

We still need someone to take the position of defense attorney, we have 1 candidate but he might be busy when the RP starts. The defense attorney needs to be the most dedicated player but no one else has come yet.

Race: Earth Pony

Appearance: Darkish green with a medium length somewhat messy brown mane wears small glasses. 

 

Personality: Usually tries to stay calm and calculating when in court; usually doesn't work out. Is clever at times but can also be very wrong; usually thinks hes right which can give off an arrogant vibe. He is reasonable and isn't stubborn, so he can change his mind and even have self doubt. He usually means well though and is kind. Can be brutally honest though. Doesn't like to give up. Is relatively new to being a lawyer but he has been in a few cases. Likes to take his time and not be rushed, so at times he may not work well under pressure. Usually tries to think things through. In the end though he always tries his best to find the truth and make sure his client gets a fair trial, even if they are guilty. Also likes to think of himself as also a detective.

 

Background: Grew up in Fillydelphia. His father was a detective and he always admired him. So from a very young age he also wanted to be one. As he grew up he would accompany his dad to the police department and even courthouses. There he would watch attorneys battle it out. He still wished to become a detective though. It wasn't until his dad was convicted for forging evidence in order to get a client convicted. He was innocent of course and it was because of that case and how the defense attorney saved his dad that made him want to change professions. The attorney told him that they help people and also help find the truth which influenced him to start studying law and become a lawyer.

 

Talent: is good at debating and arguing things

I'm wondering, do you think a defense team would work out? (2 attorneys on the defense team). I don't really want to disallow you to play the role you want and I've seen ace attorney RP's where there are two attorneys who help each other point out contradictions.

I'm going to try and get the RP all set up by this Friday, if not, this Saturday.

I'll be sending every witness a witness story (what they saw on the night of the crime). The witness story only has YOUR account and what you want to hide.

Bradley: I'll need Darkbloom as the Defendant. You can still play Judge as well.

Both of you will be on the defense team. I've seen it work out on Attorney Online. It still plays out like a normal Ace attorney RP. Also, if one of you quits the other can keep going. This will prevent the RP from crashing. Shadowking's exams are over this Monday and the RP probably wont be extremely active until trial.

Backstory: (also in link) Lived on an island nation not too far from Equestria. Mother was a prosecutor that quit her job after learning a convict that she sentenced to death was innocent. Father dead. Was told he should be a defense attorney but after a certain "Incident" he decided that he needed to be a prosecutor.
