Tameless 979 January 6, 2015 Share January 6, 2015 Get some tweezers and try to snatch that piece of wood out of you before it causes infections. 3 Signature By: Kyoshi "There has never been a sadness that can't be cured by breakfast food." - Ron Swanson QuirkyUsername Makes Me Smile! Scrubbed user 3,416 January 6, 2015 Share January 6, 2015 I got a splinter in my finger when I was a kid. It hurt like hell, but hurt more trying to dig it out. Avoiding splinters is actually simple: with bare hands, hold areas where it's smoothest. Wear gloves if you can.

Tameless 979 January 6, 2015 Share January 6, 2015 i.. think ill pass on the tweezers. Well that's the best way to get it out, maybe try getting it with your finger or using rubbing alcohol to help the infection. ~SadisticFluttershy~ 779 January 6, 2015 Share January 6, 2015 (edited) i.. think ill pass on the tweezers. Wow. You're such a wuss. I remember during my freshman year that I broke my Tennis Raquet on accident, and it was made from Graphite and Carbon Fiber (HEAD). A Piece of it got stuck in my thumb. Boy did it hurt like hell!! I went to the nurses office to get it out cause I couldn't on my own. It took awhile to get it out cause it was under the skin but it felt so much better once It got out. Don't keep things like that in any part of your body because it could cause infections and only cause bigger problems. So you should get rid of it like say, I don't know... NOW?!! -.- Edited January 6, 2015 by ~SadisticFluttershy~ Thanks MiniKirby! It's soooooo awesome! "Enough Chitchat time is candy!".- Pinkie Pie. "Storm Chasing is a commitment. Moonlight 7,286 January 6, 2015 Share January 6, 2015 Use tweezers and don't spend a minute or two on it, spend like 10 minutes, splinters are hard to get out. When tweezers didn't work, when I was younger I'd either leave it in or use a knife. matching setups with my bff pathfinder

If it doesn't bother you, why did you ask this? Huh?! It's obvious you WANT to get it out. The only advice I can get which is common, use them tweezers if it's reachable. If not, ask your parents for help.. hell, even go to the nurses office to help get it out. It's better if you just get it out before it causes any serious problems. Thanks MiniKirby! Elegron 168 January 6, 2015 Author Share January 6, 2015 (edited) well its not that it bothers me, its just a thing to talk about cuz i was bored, also, this REALLY racks up my post count lol. and im not going downstairs to the nurses office, as ive mentioned before i cant trust nurses (dont ask) and im just too lazy. • Trypanophobia - Fear of Injection or Medical Needles Trypanophobia is a medical phobia. A more general fear of non-medical needles is known as aichmophobia. Trypanophobia may result in serious physiological responses including very low blood pressure and fainting. In some cases, severe trypanophobia may lead the sufferer to avoid all medical care. ^jeeze this font is... persistant. anyway, yes i suffer from a similar curse, nightmares and all.Its gotten to the point where while im normally open and happy to meet someone, the moment someone is the nurse, dentist, doctor, ect, they are worse than hell itself. If it were a zombie apocalypse and a nurse was putting my safety at risk, i would probably not hesitate to kill her. and that scares me D: . Anyone else i wouldn't want to but.... i just cant think of them as humans or even sentient beings with a purpose other than lying or trying to stab you. Its like a full moon to a vampire, and brings out the worst in me. scary. Edited January 6, 2015 by Elegron Act before you have the presence of mind to second-guess yourself. ShadowFoxz 342 January 6, 2015 Share January 6, 2015 I have the solution Since the pain is what you hate grab the following things, a belt or something you can bite without any worries or inflicting any more pain and some tweezers. use the tweezers while biting the object hard and the pain is minimal to none My OC http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/nights-fury-ayiana-r5499
