I just had this idea and had to draw it I quite enjoy this one just how it all flows together, I don't like the rocks so much but such as life, anyway as always please critique!

I love it, wish i could draw that well. the only thing that i am not a fan of is the handle, it just feels kind of underwhelming compared to the awesome of the blade and background.

Looks pretty much like one of Gimli's short axes. I loved the scene where he tried to destroy the ring with his axe (in the movie that is to say). 

 

It looks pretty well drawn. Don't know how the Axe would balance itself like that, doesn't look like it is really far down into the stone. But, meh... why apply to logic? It's great

it is a bearded axe similar to Gimli's but most of its design was taken from the Securis in Spartacus

 

 

although mostly I just tried to invision an axe that would suit my fighting style  ​
