Okay, never really thought I'd be making a thread about a series of well-known slasher movies on a forum that's about a show of magical talking ponies and the magic of friendship.

 

Anyway that aside, there's a reason I made this thread, two reasons in fact.

 

1. There's a Friday the 13th Video Game coming out. I never thought I'd see the game industry tackle this franchise again after the games on the NES and Commodore 64. Ah well new age of gaming, survival horror is big, and Alien Isolation was a roaring success, maybe they can make it work.

 

2. New Friday the 13th Television Series coming out. I found this out through the same article, and as it turns out this was announced last year. How did I not know of this!? But anyway, a Television series, I don't know how you can make one for this franchise but I'd like to see where they go with this.

 

So, it looks like it's true, this franchise never dies! Like Jason, it keeps coming back!

 

Now that we know there's stuff for this franchise's future, I'll be waiting for another entry for A Nightmare on Elm Street!

Ohh, I'm so excited for the videogame... The TV Series too. I wonder what it's gonna be like.
