Comic Collectors?

Hey everypony!

 

I was just curious if there were any comic collections here. I have a collection myself and love to see others', discuss and perhaps trade! I currently try to only pick one cover (ie one physical comic) for each issue, though there are a few rare exceptions. How do you all collect? 

 

Currently, I'm hunting for #1 (Third Eye Cover), #2 (JetPack Cover) of the main series and FF #7 (BronyCon Cover), but am proud of how far my collection has come!

i feel your pain on the collection part, im trying to get 1 of every cover have most, Have a eye on one of the 12 1-1million prints but not sure i want to drop 4000 bucks on a single comic (cover 10a2) also try hitting up hastings on line was able to track down about 40 covers from them at cost they have huge on line selection thats still avalable for order, also if you have a hastings near you check al of their file cabnets was able to pick up another 40 covers becasue most of the employees dont know how to alphbetize the word "My"

also watch ebay have be able to pick up 10-15 covers for dirt cheap plus shipping.

I have all the variants for #1, and have most of the standard and subscription variants for all the rest. I know I have over one hundred comics for sure from the IDW series. But I really have lost interest in the stories...they kinda went downhill the past year and I haven't really been excited to pick them up at my comic shop. Sometimes feels like a chore now..

I don't collect MLP comics, but i have a few Anime and Marvel types. I just don't find the comics as entertaining as fanfics though.

I'm a huge comic book fan and so is most of my family. I tend to collect Green Lantern and the spin offs of it (I will freely admit the movie sucked) but as soon as I heard there was going to be an MLP comic I picked it up right away.  I'm generally not really into variant covers and will just pick up the one that looks the most visually pleasing to me.  So far I have a physical copy of every comic save for Friends Forever #13 and I'm usually able to buy them at my local comic book store.

I do have several volumes of the MLP comics, and I own a good deal of manga.  Gunsmith Cats, xxxHolic, Sailor Moon, Claymore, some yuri collection xD, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Death Note, Dragon Ball, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist, Cardcaptor Sakura, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, SandLand, Cowa!, and I forget what else (if anything).  I'll probably try and pawn off some of the ogle-ier ones on my friends. x3  Since, nowadays, I only have eyes for:
