searching a 1x1 idea I have

It's only been fifty years since the human race discovered monsters, since the beginnings of what could very well be the end of us. We can't stop them from attacking, or trying to rid the world of us,. They've even turned some of us into monsters, kidnapping our children and torturing them until they come back for us in turn. I don't even know how long I'm going to last here, trapped inside the cold stone cell. Can you stop them and save us? - A note found of the corpse of Detective Josephine Moyer, after the raid of known monster hideout in New York City.

In this character A(me), is the son of Detective Josephine and is currently working as one of the town guard - developed after the fall of the walls around the city, to protect the citizens from the Monsters that prowl at night and hide by day. He also wants to find the people who took his mother from him and left her to rot in some guys basement. When he's in danger Character B(you) saves him from most certain death. She is not one of the town guard but seems to be trained like one. What he doesn't know is that she's saved him, just for herself.
