planning Plagued (Planning)

I have a general idea for a disease-based roleplay, and I'm just checking interests and trying to flesh it out for now.

 

A new disease has fallen upon the small town of Appleoosa. There are no outward symptoms, up until the ponies begin to lose complete nervous system control and writhe in pain on the ground, dying within 48 hours. Celestia and Luna have sent clerics to try and treat the sickness, and called upon martial law to keep ponies from coming in or out. However, tensions are running higher when a pony was killed after attempting to run out of town to be with his family. Now, the citizens of Appleoosa threaten to riot, the soldiers are trying to prevent them, and the clerics are caught in the middle, threatening their lives by being near diseased ponies.

 

I thought it would be a nice change of pace if an outbreak RP DIDN'T involve zombies for once, but rather focused on the political, social, and personal challenges of an outbreak.

Atlas with the Satla branch off 'cause I haven't used it yet.

I also want to throw Patches in since he's a doctor so it makes sense that he might be there.

 

I like this idea. Fresh and original for the forum. It's a good base and can be built on easily. I'm looking forward to this.
