Falling to Nowhere

 

Scootaloo was trotting happily down a narrow path to Fluttershy's feeling as energetic as a parasprite. She had a skip in her hooves and a smile on her face. She had gotten her cutie mark! She looked at her rump to double check she wasn't dreaming. Yep! Sure enough, a picture of a scooter with wings was permanently on her flank. "Fluttershy! Fluttershy!" she called, looking at the foliage that surrounded Fluttershy's cottage. "I'm here," a soft voice called. Scootaloo trotted inside. "You'll never believe what happened! I got my cutie mark!" Fluttershy's eyes where bloodshot and red as she faced Scootaloo. "That's nice," she said. "What happened Fluttershy? Why do you look so tired?" Scootaloo asked, coming into the house farther. Fluttershy said something inaudible. "Speak up Fluttershy I can barely hear ya!" Scootaloo said, looking with concern at her. "I SAID, ANGEL DIED!" Fluttershy cried, bursting into tears. Now Scoots noticed what Fluttershy was holding, the body of Angel. "Oh," was all Scootaloo said. She sat down, no longer happy. She felt as miserable as when Discord had been set free. "How did it happen," Scootaloo said quietly. Then Scootaloo saw an expression she had never seen on Fluttershy before, anger. "YOU RAN OVER HIM WITH THAT CURSED SCOOTER!" She yelled. Scootaloo shriveled into the corner. "I-I what?" she said trembling. "I SAID YOU-" Her voice faltered and she started crying again. Scootaloo thought she could stay no longer and quietly slipped outside. She no longer had a spring in her trot or a smile on her face. Instead, she had a sorrowful expression and her trot was sludgy, like walking through mud. She trot-sludged to Apple Jack's farm to see Apple Bloom. Apple Bloom raced out the barn happily but stopped when she saw Scoot's expression. "What in tarnation happened Scoots?" Apple said, putting a hoof on her friend's shoulder. "I-I think I may have really hurt Fluttershy, more than I can repair," Scootaloo said sadly. "Oh. Well you should be happy, you and ME both got our cutie marks today! I got mine while helping A.J. out back with the planting and SHAZAM! A little apple bud appeared on my flank!" She said happily. "You don't understand!" Scootaloo cried, trotting away.

 

Scootaloo cried into her pillow and didn't come to school with Ms.Cheerilee all week. On the next day, Rainbow Dash flew to the Farm and Rarity's boutique to deliver the news; Scootaloo had commited suicide, by hanging herself from a tree. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Bell cried for weeks for the loss of their friend. Apple Bloom was starting to walk to school when she saw Scootaloo's tree and sat down under it. "Scootaloo, why'd you have to go?" Apple cried. Then she heard a voice in her head. "Join me, I miss you,"

 

The next day, a message was written in blood on Apple's wall. "Join me, I have Apple Bloom" and Apple was found dead, an apple shearer knife in her chest. Sweetie was very scared now. Both of her friends were dead and she had a feeling she was next. She sat by the tree and a familiar voice filled her head...

 

Celestia was shocked as she was receiving letters from ponyville saying that three fillies had  died, all apparently by suicide. She had heard this and immediate action was taking place. Scootaloo's tree was to be cut down. That night, after the tree had been cut, a voice entered her dreams. "Celestia, I have Sweetie and Apple here but its still lonely. We've agreed to take you next, are you excited?"

That was so dark and escalated so quickly. *shudder*
