Backstory: Reven was initiated into the Ultra Marines at the Age of 17.

 

For many years he trained and grew stronger and smarter, The Adeptus Astartes was the right place for him.

 

He dropped onto many a planet, Killing demons and Xenos without mercy.

 

For over a hundred years he fought with the Adeptus Astartes.

 

And he would of been willing to fight for a hundred more.

 

But Chaos Wanted other things.

 

And so during his latest battle against the plague bearers of nurgle, he was sent into the warp by a chaos champion.

 

And as he travelled through the warp, Millions of Screams threatening to make him crazy, he spotted a light, and using what momentum he could muster, he launched himself towards the light, and into a new land.

Just so you guys are tracking my OC as well as my human character will be in this RP as well. They are going to NPC as well as the Mane Six, so you can talk to them. The human won't come in till later tho.

John 'Phantom' Storm

 

A 20 year old human male working for a special ops branch of military, recruited at age 18 for his impressive tech skills. He earned the nickname 'Phantom' from an exam thrust upon him by one of his more bitter superiors, one who was annoyed by the idea of getting someone young and inexperienced. The exam was to get into a high-security enemy facility, extract intel, and get out to the rendezvous without raising any sort of alarm. From start to finish, he took 30 minutes and commented that 'The cyber security was extremely lax' upon returning.

 

At the beginning of his time in special ops he had zero skills in anything other than technology, by age twenty he was well versed in guns, hand-to-hand combat, and stealth skills. About a year ago, the military had given him extra funding for some of his more advanced 'research projects' This project was started due to a potential threat of invasion raised by the appearance of random portals in the world. Nothing has come out yet, but the military is getting more paranoid as the portals are appearing with a higher frequency.

 

His superiors have given him a mission to scout out the other side of a portal when it opens next.

 

John has several things at his disposal, the foremost being his knowledge and tech ability. He is an accomplished hacker and engineer, and has recently finished working on his two most important projects: An AI assistant with a small but powerful robotic body, and a back-pack that links with his brain, allowing him to fly with a pair of metallic wings that sprout from it.

 

He plans to take these, along with several other pieces of equipment into the portal with him, the most prominent being his ultra-fast and extremely multi-purpose arm-computer(Think of a blue omni-tool from Mass effect) which has many gadgets and apps of which he installed himself. His job once past the portal is to scout out the area and determine whether or not the inhabitants would be hostile, as well as to find out if there is anything the human race can potentially use.

Your characters are accepted, although just to let you, the humans gadget won't work upon first entering the portal when you do. 

 

Also just so everyone, is aware Storm Shine will be assisting me in this RP, so he will be the Assistant RP Leader.

your human character and Tech would probably be best friends nearly right of the bat, seeing as we both have techie characters. Tech however would have the knowledge to get your devices working by realigning the energy signals Or something technopathic.
