Blizz was then in deep thought, "Hmmm I have another idea. It's on how we can get down to the eighth circle. It's possible but--no it'll never work. I wouldn't be able to handle it. Ugh! Does anypony have an idea that's better than mine?"

Blizzard's idea involved doing something he has never doen before with his powers, it seemed like a good idea, but the move wasn't perfected so he kept quiet about his idea and waited for the ideas of the others.

[Sinusoid 37]

Sinusoid, returning to normal at the time of hearing about the drop of the eighth circle, walks a good distance from the group, and takes a small notebook out of his vest pocket. He begins writing a few velocity, density, and frequency equations, then alternates between making changes and using magic to produce changing percussive sounds. After several minutes, he walks back and proposes a solution to their problem; "I think that, by using a theoretical sub-infrasonic air vibration to increase the pressure of air nearing the ground, then releasing it, I might be able to create a sort of... sonic trampoline."

Blizzard was counfused and intrigued at the same time but couldn't understand SM completely, "I sorta see what you're saying but could you make it a little simpler for us to understand SM? It sounds like a good idea but what do you mean? How is gonna work?"

Wilhelm raised a eyebrow approvingly. "Excellent idea. How much mass can it carry, and how much momentum do you expect to be absorbed?" 

 

OOC: The plan is this: When they drop down, something goes wrong. Eclipse has set a trap for them, and he creates a portal, sending them to the middle of a fortress on the Fourth Circle, in the midst of a massive lake of fire and lava. Did I mention they're surrounded by goons?

 

(Also, first miniboss. For all the goons and the miniboss, I'll be controlling them-if that's okay with Jay.)

Sinusoid begins explaining his plan; "Please don't hold me accountable for this, because everything is theoretical. Anyway, what I'm explaining is a method of increasing and decreasing the density of air with an extremely powerful sound wave, which might be able to break our fall if we were to jump down there, and then propel us upward with less energy than before. My magic is not very powerful, so we would need to go one at a time, if at all."

Blizz was excited to see his friend who thought of himself as useless, found a way to be useful, "There ya go SM! See, you're not useless, you're awesome! Now that we have it planned out, how do you intend to execute your idea?" Blizzard was interested in SM's idea but was confused on what needed to be done.

If there are no objections shall we press onward my fellow comrades? But be warned my fellow comrades. We have yet to face the dreaded guardians of Tartarus...The Cerberus...And the bloodthirsty Hydra...We have gone where no good pony has ever gone before...

Wilhelm raised a very thick book. "Don't forget Cthulu. We'll be passing near R'Yleh on this route...." His voice trailed off. "Cthulu, the king of the deep, the eldrich abomination of abominations, the many-tentacled dreamer, the eater of worlds......." His face was pale.

Wilhelm raised a very thick book. "Don't forget Cthulu. We'll be passing near R'Yleh on this route...." His voice trailed off. "Cthulu, the king of the deep, the eldrich abomination of abominations, the many-tentacled dreamer, the eater of worlds......." His face was pale.

Oh that's right...Yes how could I forget...We must prepare for a valiant struggle my friends! But I have faith that we will succeed! There is no evil in Equestria or in Tartarus that this blade cannot slay! No power in the universe can affect this enchanted equipment that I wield! Not even Discord's magic!

Blizzard was confident, "Is that all? Ha! Whatever it is we can handle it right guys? I mean if anything gives us problems they'll have to *freezes a boulder then kicks it, shattering it to pieces* chill out!" Blizzard was confident in his allies, and had no worries about the challenges that lay ahead. "Hey guys, I think SM had an idea on how to get to circle eight. He said something about a trampoline of some sorts."

I swear on this divine blade that we will succeed! I Silver Sword, The Paladin and Captain of The Royal Guard, Shall allow no evil calamity to befall our fair kingdom! May the light guide our weapons to victory! *Silver shouted raising his blade to the sky*

Blizzard was on the calm track, "Ok SS calm down, we still need a plan on how we're gonna get down to circle eight. And I just said that SM has an idea on how we should do it. Maybe we should listen to his plan?"

Blizzard was not in the mood for fooling around, he wanted him and his team to get to their objective: Celestia's relic. Which, unfortunately they still didn't know where it was. But Blizz didn't give up hope, he never intended to do so, and he wasn't starting now!

"All right, this is how it will work, if I should demonstrate." Sinusoid explains; "Judging by the height of the fall, which I calculated with sonar, we would hit the ground in approximately six seconds, which is actually relatively long. Now, if I were to drop this rock that is about the weight of a pony..." He walks over to a rock and pushes it off of the edge with effort. Sinusoid's horn lights up, and a low pulsing is heard, and he is launched forward, almost falling off of the edge, but for more then 10 seconds, there is no other noise. "Do you hear that? The rock did not hit the ground with any marginal force."

Ah yes that's right. As the leader I shall take it upon myself to use the trampoline first. In order to see if it is safe of course. I will ensure the path that my comrades will take is safe. If there are no objections then I shall go on ahead. *he said as he prepared to jump onto the trampoline*

Blizzard was ready to go, "Ooh this looks fun! Me next! I wanna jump next! To circle eight!" Blizzard then jumps after SS jumps.

Sinusoid braces himself for the shock of ponies jumping by tightly holding onto a wall. "Please don't mess around, because this is very difficult, and the 'trampoline' is invisible because it is made out of air." He yells to silver and Ice; "And you should cover your ears from the damaging frequency and power of this sound, and maybe close your eyes if you're as afraid of death as I am."

*Silver soared through the air after jumping onto the trampoline. He had no fear of getting injured from falling due to his magical legendary enchanted armor. Though he began to wonder when and where he would land and what kind of threat he would face next.*

As fun as it was, Blizzard took SM seriously and did what he said, "Got it! SS you to!" Blizzard then covered his ears and hoped that SS would do the same to keep his ears from bleeding. He was also excited and worried, because he didn't know when they were gonna land so he just hoped for the best.

*Silver covered his ears for the moment and landed where Ice Blizzard was. A horde of the undead was in front of them.* Back foul beasts! You shall not best me this day foul creatures of Tartarus! *he shouted as he began to mow the enemies down with his blade*

Wilhelm jumped down, fluttering his wings slightly to slow his descent further, and using them like gliders, swooping anove the enemy horde and acting like a dive bomber: sweeping down, cutting through the ranks with his sword and then swooping back up, leaving a train of explosives in his wake. However, midair, he was grabbed, and thrown into a wall on the far side-or they tried to. Wilhelm fought furiously, but instead of flying into a lava lake, he ended up skidding to a few feet from it. He staggered up, holding his enchanted sword in a battle position, wings flared. "Long time, no see, never want to see again, Eclipse."

Blizzard had to recover and was ready to fight the zombies, "Ice clone back me up!" Blizzard then summoned an Ice clone and the double started to copy the real Blizzard's attacks on its own group of zombies. The two of them cooled of the zombies until they were no more. "Oh yeah good job me! No, good job yourself." He brohoofed his clone and it disappeared with a smal icy wind. "Ok let's wait here SS until the others come down."

OOC: Where does our setback to circle 4 come in at?

Blizzard had to think on his hooves, "Don't worry Will! We gotcha. SS go after Will and keep him safe, I'll finish of these weenies! GO GO NOW before Will ends up losing more than just blood this time!" Blizzard prepared himself and began to freeze some of the zombies in a way that SS had a path to get to Will. "Get movin' SS go!"

caliber jumped down after them, and hit the ground softly, thanks to the sonar trampoline. he bounced up, and un-sheathed his sword, and began dashing in a zig-zag pattern through the zombie hoard. he was suddenly kicked in the chest by what appeared to be a zombie. 'but that cant be!" caliber said, as he flew through the air, "zombies arnt that strong!" he looked at the zombie that had kicked him. it morphed into eclipse, before assuming another zombie disguise caliber landed on the wall, and jumped off. "everyone, be careful! eclipse is among the zombies!!" he yelled, "dont let your guard down!"
