"Shit" Scarlett says. She quickly takes off her suit and puts it in her bag, slightly shocked by the sudden wind and rain on her fur. She uses her magic to guise the rope closer to Lordy. She turns to Spellbind and asks "You've got this right?"

 

Not waiting for an answer she folds lifts up the burning sail into the wind next to the ship and lets go as it flies backwards behind them.

The waves were too big and fast to let him see the rope. As he tried to 'ask' for help a giant mouthful of water entered his jaws. He could barely breathe. The only thing keeping him alive and afloat was adrenaline. He desperately started swimming after the ship yet of course... He was not fast enough.

Spellbind realized that Lordy had in fact not managed to grab onto the rope. She didn't even take the time to think things through (Alliteration Combo 7x!) and dived into the water. She swam after him and tried to catch up with him. She thought she could see herself getting closer...

Swearing under her breath Scarlett runs over to the wheel and grabs it. She tries to turn the ship around but can't.

 

She jumps into the freezing water after Spellbind and swims back to Lordy. She looks around in the giant waves yelling out "Lordy! Lordy! Where are you! Shout to me!"

The sail that Scarlett threw in the water was still tied. A few ropes held it to the ship. Lordy managed to crawl on it. And pretty much passed out completly. His lungs were almost fish tanks at this moment. The sail was being dragged behind the ship. The only problem was that it also acted like an anchor, pulling the ships tail downwards.

Scarlett also gets caught in the sail like a net, "How convenient" she thinks to herself.

 

She gapes in awe as the back of the ship begins to get pulled down and shouts "We need to get back to the ship and cut the ropes before we pull Caramel's ship underwater with us!"

"Cut the ropes! Right!" said Spellbind loudly. She climbed a bit of the rope she had chucked into the water and fired magic at it. But did this destroy the rope? No, it actually turned the rope into a very long string of licorice.

 

(Licorice is nice in the UK )

She fired a beam at the sail that caught Scarlet

After gushing out some water... Lordy spits out a few words,

"Go... Save yourselves... Cut the ropes... Save the rest... Ill manage."

 

He was caught in some of the ropage on the other end of the sail. He could speak anymore as more water flew over the sail.

 

(No im not killing him... He will... Row on a barrel later =p)

Scarlett just lays there in a sail in a storm and sees rope turn to licorice before her very eyes. "Well, it seems that the more wonderful things in life happen in the past, not the future." Levitating the edges of the sail she begins to lift the sail and the rest of the crew that are in the water with her.

 

"I'm gonna need some help with this!"

Spellbind did her best not to go over to the licorice rope and eat it all up at sonic speeds. She knew that her help was needed and she was not useless, so she used her magic to help levitate the sail. It took a bit of heaving, but it was clear that her effort was showing.

Wilhelm, meanwhile, cut the ropes onboard the ship holding the sail to the ship with deliberate swipes of his saber, and then rushed around, attempting to do everything from plug leaks in the hull to tie down sails more tightly. At the top of his lungs, he yelled "Just for your information, I did not sign up for this!" before getting hit straight in the face with a wave. "....medic."

Caramel heard a voice, asking her something. She saw somepony standing in front of her but her sight was blurry. She blinked with her eyes a few times before she got out of her frozen state and notice that it was Tyra, standing in front of her. Caramel looked around her, she appeared to be standing in her room. "What.. what happened?" she asked stuttering. "How did I get here?"

"She brought you down here, and I took it upon myself to watch over you until you recovered," she continued, grinning proudly with a hoof to her chest, then gave her a look of concern, "If I may ask, what happened? You are usually so focused and commanding, but you looked as if your greatest fear had appeared before your eyes!"

"Well I..uh... I don't like thunder....it's the only thing that really scares me. I know it sounds stupid. The greatest captain of the seas, scared of thunder, so stupid." Caramel said as she sat down on her bed. "Are the others okay or is it still hell out there?" Caramel said trying to change the subject. She could feel the waves crashing against the side of the ship.

"Nay," Tyra shook her head, smiling, "I have seen some of the mightiest warriors be afraid of much less. Mice, for instance!"

 

She glanced toward the door. "I think it is still chaos out there. Scarlett is trying to repair the mast that nearly crushed you."

She turned back to Caramel and fixed her with a stern but attentive look. "What shall you have me do?"

She glanced toward the door. "I think it is still chaos out there. Scarlett is trying to repair the mast that nearly crushed you."

She turned back to Caramel and fixed her with a stern but attentive look. "What shall you have me do?"

"Well I think it best if we try to help out the others. If it is still chaos out there, they probably need our help and this time, I will not let the fear get to me. I promise." Caramel said as she stood up from her bed and walked to the door. "Shall we?" Caramel said as she waited for Tyra's responds

She felt a lot more confident, seeing her leader looking much more determined. With her back in command, there was no doubt in her mind they would conquer this storm!

She looked of the railing of the ship where she saw Lordy, Spellblind and Scarlett struggling with the broken sail. "Hang on there. We will save ye." Caramel said looking at Tyra. "They need our help. I'm gonna tie a rope around me waist and then I'll go down there. Can ye hold the rope so that I won't drown with them?"

Caramel carefully jumped over the railing and slowly dropped herself where Lordy, Spellblind and Scarlett were. Lordy was the first one Caramel grabbed. She pulled him away from the sail and its ropes. "I got the first one, ye can pull me up now." Caramel shouted towards Tyra.

Scarlett sits on the sail in the water holding it up as much as she could with her magic. She sits there, calmly. Almost too calm. If one were to see her you would see a very bored expression on her face. You'd be wondering why. And the reason, the reason is that if there wasn't another pony relying on her to hold up the sail she would just teleport. But no, she had to help them.

Scarlett had a choice. Teleport herself or Spellbind up, or wait for caramel. Of those two options, she chose the third. Scarlett cuts one of the sails ropes and ties it around Spellbind. Tying another one onto herself she cuts the rest of the ropes and the sail is dragged back into the ocean, leaving Spellbind and Scarlett being dragged along behind the ship.

 

"Mind pulls us up!" Scarlett shouts.

Tyra nodded, listening to Caramel closely.

"Aye, I agree," She muttered, perking Lordy onto her back, "What shall you have me do?"

 

She glanced toward the door to below deck. "I would suggest taking him to the medical room to see if he is sick or injured in any way."
