Ticktock's face quickly turned to that of depression "Well I last spoke to her four years ago. And as for where she is I well assume she is dead. That is when Dark entered my life, my biggest fear and my biggest secret. We were adventuring in the everfree forest like we usually did when we found a black crystal we were fantasised with it so we bought it here and put it down in the lab and started running experiments on it... That is when the crystal started to bellow black smoke which launched it's self into my horn then everything when black. When I awoke I was confronted by the royal guard and Celestia that is when I found out that the dark mist inside that crystal had changed me in some way and that I had done something to Gale no pony knew what I did she was just gone and all that was left was the crystal which is now green and to this day even though Celestia doesn't know about it Dark still lives up here." Ticktock points to his head "He is annoying as hell in fact the only time I like having him around is when I can punch him."

Blizzard felt sad when he heard Ticktock's sad revelation, "Ouch. I'm sorry about that bro." he sighed and was quiet for a moment before continuing, "I guessI know now not to mess with strange things anymore. Especially if my special somepony is involved. But I'm sure she's fine out there somewhere, Ticktock. Don't beat yourself up about it ok?" he said as he quickly hugged him and let go.

"Aye," Tyra agreed, nodding sternly, "And, there is no evidence that your friend is dead, yes? You only assume she is, but there was no body."

 

She grinned and gave him a hug of her own, her trademark nearly back-breaking squeeze.

"I am sure you two will reunite some day!" She chirped.

Ticktock hugged Tyra back and half smiled "Yeah I guess you could be right after all she may not be in Equestria but one day I will find out where she is that I know after all the only 'pony' to know where she is is Dark and he is safe up here in my head in fact you can talk to him if you want I have a spell which will allow him to talk without taking control of my body."

Blizzard put his hooves up and waved them around in a 'NO' type motion, "No, thanks. I think we've seen enough of that bastard for one day. Let's try and relax ourselves for a bit guys. I mean, aren't you tired from dealing with evil sons of guns as it is? Don't you think we all deserve some leisure?"

Ticktock laughed "Yeah I guess you're right lets head upstairs I am sure I have a kitchen somewhere in here." Ticktock walked up the spiral stairs as he entered the library It was the tallest room of the tower and made up about half of it. There was a big stain glass window at the back of it with depicted the spirit of chaos Discord himself in front of it was a large desk which had scrolls and quills scattered all over it. Ticktock turned to the gang and said "Do you guys mind helping me look for a book it is blue with gold inlay I cant remember the title but it is something which will allow me to make us something to eat."

Tyra gave Blizzard a small pet before leaving her to sleep, following Ticktock and Ice up the stairs. The spiral staircase disoriented her for a little bit but she was fine at the top.

 

She raised an eyebrow at the strange stained-glass window depicting a...long monster thing.

 

"Very well," She smirked, putting a hoof to her chest, "I shall find this book!" She began throwing things around to find it.

Blizzard skated up the spiral stair rail, and jumped off onto the upper floor, "Nice!  Awesome window too." he listened to Ticktock's instructions, "Blue one, gold style. Got it! I'm on it!" he began to search all around the floor to look for the book. "Nothing yet! Gotta keep looking..."

Ticktock stood back and looked at the stain window "Hey do either of you know who this is I think he is one of the most relatable and funniest beings in Equestria he is a draquoricus known as Discord he has been around for over one thousand years if it wasn't for him Equestria might not have been the same."

Blizzard had found the book behind a flower pot, "I got it! Discord huh? Yeah he's pretty funny. I wouldn't go trusting him 100% yet." He then made a chef's hat our of ice on top of his head and flipped through the book and put on a bad French accent, "Haha! Let us ze what is in ze cookbook!"

"I have heard of this 'Discord'," Tyra answered, looking back as she threw books around, "The Equestrian god of chaos and disharmony, who supposedly took over the kingdom until the Princesses banished him, if I am not mistaken."

 

She raised an eyebrow at Ice, wondering just what he was doing with his voice.

Ticktock chuckled at Blizzard "You would be a fool to trust him he is the spirit of chaos defeated bye Celestia and Luna over a thousand years ago which lead to them becoming the rulers of Equestria however a while back he escaped but was imprisoned in stone by Twilight and her friends before they 'reformed' him. He is quite a nice being though I have met him before and I will never forget it and the look and Celestia's face." Ticktock starts bursting out in laughter before taking the book from Blizzard "Ah yes this is it so what does everypony want to eat?"

Blizzard took of the hat and dematerialized it before laughing as well, "....ah oh man. Yep. Making them laugh is what I do. Anyway as far as what to eat..." he put his hoof to his chin in thought, "Mmm...fish! I love fish. How about catfish Ticktock? Salmon maybe? Ooh! And shrimp?" he asked excitedly.

Tyra nodded. "Aye, he does not sound like one to be trusted. Such a spirit is one to be kept an eye on, yes?"

 

And once again, she cocked an eyebrow to Blizzard upon hearing his choices.

"I did not know you liked fish too?" She inquired, not recalling this fact about the stallion.

 

Nevertheless, she grinned widely and clapped her forehooves. "This is good, somepony to relate to! I shall have some salmon!"

Blizzard's stomach rumbled as he heard Tyra, "Yeah! You didn't know? Oh, that's right. You weren't with me, Caliber, and Ticktock when we ate at the special restaurant during our celebration. But anyway, yeah. Fish is awesome. I like catfish, salmon, and talipia. And for other seafood, I like shrimp, crab legs, and lobster." his stomach growled again, "Ugh... Ticktock, talking about food is making me famished. What's your cooking procedure?"

Ticktock pondered to himself what he would eat before coming up with lobster. Ticktock laughed at IB's question "Well my procedure is magic of course."

Ticktock sat down on the chair behind the desk and opened the book he then levitated a small pair of rectangular reading glasses from a draw and begins to focus. Suddenly the desk extends into a table with a candle in the middle. The chair splits into enough chairs for them all before food began to appear on the table and not just the requested food either more than that there were for throm every corner of the world. Ticktock smiled "DIG IN EVERYPONY!"

Blizzard was excited when he saw Ticktock begin. And when the food was prepared, he had to use every bone in his body to keep himself from just pigging out. He pulled out chairs for everyone else, and calmly took his seat. He placed a napkin on his lap, and picked all the bits of food that he wanted and put them onto his plate, "I'd like to say a few words. Ahem...thank you Ticktock for this amazing meal. Thanks everyone for being valiant companions throughout this adventure, and thank you all for being great friends.....anypony else have a few words?"

caliber dove into the meal, noisily eating.

 

"huh? oh...this food is awesome!" he said, in between bites, "make meh more food!"

 

he didnt really pay any attention to blizzard, he'd seen weirder. but, he did sneak pieces of his food to blizzard. as a friendship thing.

Blizzard shook his head in disgust at Caliber's eating, "Ugh...classic Caliber. No table manners." he then began to neatly eat his food. "Mm! Ticktock this is delicious!" he said with some food in his mouth before swallowing, "Just how in Equestria did you learn such a tasty spell? This is amazing!" he asked as he continued to eat. "Hey Caliber, pass the catfish."

Tyra raised an eyebrow as Caliber made an overdramatic entrance. Shrugging, she dug into her salmon, and grinned widely.

"This salmon is fantastic!" She squeaked, and began wolfing it down.

 

Blizzard, somehow finding her way up the stairs after smelling the food, took a seat next to her master. She accepted the scraps from Caliber, tail wagging gratefully, and she and Tyra began sharing her salmon.

Blizzard decided to get up and put some catfish on his plate before sitting back down. "This is awesome. How many ponies do we know that can make food on the level of royalty?" He then asked Tyra, "Hey Tyra, can Blizzard do tricks?" he said as he gave Blizzard some of his food.

Ticktock thought for a second "Honestly I can't remember it's been so long since I've been here..." Ticktock had a sudden thought "Wait I know where I might be able to find out." Ticktock runs and jumps onto a ladder that was mounted on the bookshelf and road it along the wall till it had reached the over side of the room. Once there he climbed to the top and grabbed a large purple book and he proceeded to place it down on his end of the table.

Blizzard looked up from his plate and swallowed, "Yo, Ticktock, what's that? Is that another one of your spellbooks?" He asked as he put more food on his plate and continued to eat. He then thought to himself, "Wow, we've come a long way Tick. First we whooped your flank into shape for the team, and now, we're all happily eating together. It's nice when friends get somewhere."

Ticktock smiled "This my dear boy is a record of every book, parchment or magazine that is in this place.  Back before the whole Dark incident  a lot of the ponies came here to take a look at some of the rare magic books I have some of them are priceless." Ticktock then started looking through the book until he stopped it could be seen that tears were forming in his eyes at what he had seen in the book.

Blizzard could see that Ticktock was crying. After he swallowed again he asked him, "Ticktock? A-are you alright? What's wrong, did you see something bad within the book? Did you have a bad memory or something? Come on tell us." he asked with some level of worry.
