Blizzard took notice and had already grew a smirk on his face, "Too easy. I'll just skate across." As Blizzard began to skate however, his ice began to melt and he wouldn't make it that far. "Oh shoot!" He backflip jumped back to his team's starting point. "Ok, that's not gonna work. Any ideas guys?"

Red stared at Blizzard disapprovingly. Her heart had jumped when the ice began melting, and she didn't appreciate being scared like that.

"Well, ice won't work. Unless we're extremely quick, but let's try and think of other solutions." she decided. The pit was way too large to throw some pony across, unfortunately.

Blizzard stood there thinking. The pit was to large to jump across and his ice would melt. So how would he AND his team be able to cross without falling into the pit? "Hmm...ok guys, I have an idea, but it's a long shot. And I mean a loooong shot. Are you guys ready to hear my idea, or do you have something better?"

Red thought for a long moment. Try as she might, nothing could come to her, frustratingly enough. And Blizzard's idea was worth listening to, at any rate. "I would like to hear it," she said, pulling her head away from the pit, because she'd still been peering into it.

Blizzard had his plan to get across thought out completely. Although he was somewhat unsure of whether or not it would actually work. When he heard Red ask him what his idea was, he stood on his hind legs and made an ice pole in his hooves, "Are you guys familiar with the term, 'Pole Vaulting'?"

caliber looked at the chasm. perhaps he could do a running jump, using his dark magic to further increase his distance...but...it seemed unlikely. 

 

"okay, blizz, whattaya got in mind? that doesn't involve us dying, of course." he said, with a smirk. "and if this doesn't work, 'imma try flinging red.

Red glowered at Caliber, but a little playfully. Then she suddenly realized this could be taken as an insult to her size and turned to Caliber fully, opening her mouth, then turning back to Blizzard. No point in arguing when Luna was in danger like this.

But she wasn't little...

After a long moment, her expression resumed stoic normality. "It's about as dangerous as the other stupid things that has been thrown at us thus far. I have no objections to the plan. Though I should go first," she added, "so that you do not have to create ice poles for us across the chasm. Also, I will be least useful in future fights. This way, if the plan doesn't work, I will die and you two can think of something else." She smiled grimly.

Blizzard elaborated on his plan, "No, no. That's just my plan. Here." He then made ice poles for them both, "There ya go. Now, this is the thing: My grandpa has shown me how to pole vault before, and I'm ok at it, but I'm not gymnast. With that being said, would you guys like me to got first to show you how this is done?"

Red's ice was already melting. "Alright, but you'll have to make it for us individually from across the pit. If you can handle that range, by all means. But, doesn't one just stick the pole in the ground and jump?" It couldn't be that hard, she figured. She stared out across the pit.

Maybe a bit scary, though, but she would never voice that to her companions.

Blizzard had already thought of something else, "Ok. Check this." He added extra thickness to their poles to keep them from melting, "There. Now, they're not gonna melt. And they won't break when we vault over. Now watch me and I'll show ya." Blizzard backed up to the closed door behind them, got a running start, stuck the pole in the ground, and vaulted to the other side and grabbed the ledge with his hoof and hung there, "See? Not so bad right...?" After a moment, he picked himself up onto the other side where the east door was. "Come on!"

caliber gripped it, and ran. he stuck it into the ground, and he started to vault, but as fate would have it, he stopped right in the middle. the pole had balanced perfectly.

 

"ah...crap." caliber muttered. he hung on, above a fire chasm. luckily, in this RP his sword had a fire enchantment.

 

he used it's flames as a propeller, and made the pole go to the other side. "easy as cake!"

 

he landed. "beat that!" he called to red.

Red snorted, and looked at the pole, deciding how best to go about it. But it was beginning to melt.

Now or never, she decided.

She clenched the pole in her teeth-- Cold! Cold!-- made a running charge, and stuck the pole to the floor. It slid along the floor for a moment, but she jumped anyway, pushing herself off the ground. She had to kick the pole with one hoof (because it was too small to kick with both) to propel herself across the pit. The ice cracked under her kick and melted away as she made it across.

"Not everything's a competition," she sniffed at Caliber, a little sore about not having magical fire powers in her sword.

Blizzard looked around and saw the door options once again. "Ok, Red girl. You pick our next move. What'll it be? Do we go through the Northern Door? Or the Eastern Door? I like to give everyone on the team a turn to choose, so you're up next." He said while looking back and forth between the doors.

"Red... girl..?  Whatever," she said, more amused than anything. She considered both doors. The northern door would ensure that they didn't run into the other group and so would definitely cover more ground. Plus,  if they kept going north, they could figure out how many rooms vertically there were, and from there they could go towards the center, which was generally a good place to go.

"We'll go north," she decided, taking a step towards the door.

Blizzard jumped excitedly in the air, "You heard the girl Caliber! Let's get moving!" Blizzard then picks up Caliber and gently tosses him through the door. After which, he follows them through, "I'm right behind ya! Let's get our moon Princess back!   "

The group started going in north room

The mare screm could be heard as the song stoped,it was short but loud.This room was emprty and unlike other room it stayed empty,noting moved,noting changed.It was normal sqare room,but dores where closed down.

Tyra flinched slightly as the scream sounded, but it calmly stopped soon. She let out a sigh, knowing they weren't too late.

 

She gave the room a suspicious look-around, seeing nothing out of the ordinary. Which was suspicious.

She went to ask Ticktock what his thoughts were, but he snapped at her to not speak to her.

 

So be it. She would respect his wishes and keep silent.

Ticktock looked down at the ground silently has a scream could be heard. He then started murmuring "Stupid tiny Tyra I don't believe she would chose an axe over the life of the princess if we get out alive I will take that axe myself until she learns that she isn't the most important pony in Equestria."

But as ticktock talked to him self,shadow pulled him down,to one dark place.He could see almost noting.

 

But at top Tyra and Icarus where staying untocked by this shadow,one pail of smoke appered in midle of room,and as it desapired it left message,with map under it.Message said:

Lead you friend out of dark maze,but take care one wrong step,and he can get electric.

Ticktock yelled as the shadows pulled him down "Ah get off me you sadistic shadows!" But suddenly a feeling of fear came over him and he begun to whimper as memories of being pulled out of the Atherblade airship came flooding back to him. Than there was nothing only darkness.

 

OCC: I mean Darkness as in no light not the thing inside Ticktocks head.

Tyra perked up as Ticktock was dragged into a dark abyss, and leapt to catch him. She simply landed on the floor in a little heap.

 

A map was left beneath her snout. She scowled as she read the message.

Another test. It seemed this one would be of trust.

 

"Ticktock, can you hear me?!" She yelled, hoping to the gods he could, "I have a map that can lead you out of here, listen to me carefully!"

"Why should I listen to the tiny mare who would chose an axe over the princess!" Yelled Ticktock coldly "I don't need you I will get out of here myself." Ticktock starts walking north and then immediately hits a wall which sent a huge shock down him. He quickly jumps away from it with a yelp.

Tyra rolled her eyes as she heard Ticktock's declining her offer, followed by a yelp and a bolt of lightning.

 

"I apologise for my brash actions," She called to her ally, "But we are all under pressure, not just the Princess! We still have time to save her, so if you wish to assist me in doing just that, you will follow my directions!"

 

She lowered her head and added, more softly, "I do not wish to lose another ally."

Despite Tyra's kindness Ticktock was still cold as he said "Fine just tell me which way to go so we can get this over with and if we are lucky we may just save the princess." Ticktock stood waiting for Tyra to reply trying to ignore something inside him saying "forgive her."

"Very well," Tyra nodded, referring to the map left behind the Scarlett. She assumed Ticktock was on the black square.

 

"Take seven paces forward, turn left, and take three paces. Turn left, take one step forward, turn left and take two paces. Now turn right."

 

She paused, waiting for Ticktock to hopefully follow her directions.
