Icarus was out cold from the blast of the bomb, and it had done a number on him as well. He cloak was torn and his mask was flung halfway across the room. He tried to get up, but could not find the strength within himself. He flopped down onto the ground again, once again passing out.

As Tyra went to smash the bomb Ticktock screeched " Noooooooo!" He then shut his eyes and got ready to be exploded but to his surprise nothing happened except the bomb de-activating. Ticktock then said "Well... that was close." Suddenly he saw the explosion and dropped to the ground "I..I ...I couldn't get them all in time"

Tyra yelped with shock at the explosion, and scampered down toward the makeshift medical building, fighting through every enemy there to get to it.

 

Once inside, she saw everypony was shaken up or unconscious from the explosion, but alive.

Icarus wasn't stirring though.

 

She sprinted over and checked his pulse, which was thankfully still going. She breathed a sigh of relief.

She trotted across the room and retrieved the doctor's mask, placing it next to him for when he woke.

 

"Is everypony alright?" She asked the injured. Whoever was able gave her a small nod or grunted a 'yes'.

Ticktock rushed in behind Tyra and was shocked, the hole place had been destroyed and it was all because he couldn't get all the bombs quick enough "This is all my fault" He said dis-heartened. He then sees Blizzard and rushes over to him and notices he is fighting while injured "Calm down my friend you need treatment and besides they can not do anymore harm now they are without a leader."

[Little Red 1,529]

Red had run towards the explosion. She had been fighting at the other end of Canterlot, but she'd managed to see some of the warriors fighting, and as she had watched them had constantly thanked goodness they were there.

She rushed to the fallen building. There was no point. The injured that had been in there were already all dead...

A dog crept behind her. She turned and began slashing it apart. More were creeping towards the wreckage.

She was getting tired from the previous fighting, and the destroyed building and killed ponies had done some damage to her emotionally.

She would keep fighting, though. She could make it.

Ticktock saw a mare running to the remains of the building and grabbed her "Sorry miss you need to get out it is not safe" Ticktock started to carry the mare out starting to think why anypony would run too where an explosion had just happened but Ticktock didn't care he was just concerned about saving as many life's as possible.

caliber noticed the number of enemies had dropped greatly. and he wasn't dead. so, the bombs were disarmed. good. 

 

but what wasn't good was that he was forced to use his dark magic even more. three times in a day? his muscles felt like they were on fire! there was a reason he wanted to sleep...

 

but enough of that, he had to pick off the small fry. he walked around, looking for enemies.

She kicked away from him. "I'm fine," she said, coolly. "There's still more diamond dogs. I need to take care of them." She put her sword back in her mouth and turned away from him. She thought she vaguely remembered him from earlier in the fight. She looked around keenly and found a dog hiding in the rubble. Abruptly, she wondered, Is it right to kill these things? What if they're sentient, and think, like us? What if... but no, of course it wasn't right. It was never right to kill anything.

But right now, that didn't matter. She slashed the dog apart before it even realized she was there.

Tyra emerged from the medical building, once she'd made sure everypony inside was alive and well.

 

Nearby, she saw Ticktock and a stranger conversing, before the latter slashed into a dog with a sword.

She looked rather tough...and closer to her height! Finally, somepony to relate to around here!

 

She trotted over to the strange mare, noticing how worn out she was.

"Greetings, friend," she began, putting a hoof to her chest, "I trust you were assisting in the fight? My thanks to you!"

Ticktock didn't care if the mare thought she could handle herself or not he was not letting anypony else get hurt. "Your attempt to help is most admirable my friend but this is no place for an inexperienced fighter" He then grabs her with his magic and started to find somewhere safe to put her. 

[Little Red 1,529]

"Hello," Red said to the other warrior earth pony. She hadn't met an earth pony that could fight in a while. At least, if this one could fight. She looked it.

She glowered at the unicorn levitating her. "I am not inexperienced," she snorted, "let go of me, cur." She attempted to break the levitation by wiggling about.

"How can you tell she is inexperienced?" Tyra snarked, raising an eyebrow, "We have only just met her."

 

She felt a bit of a kindred spirit with this mare, primarily because both were warriors on the smaller side.

 

"I say we should give her a chance to fight with us!" She grinned, holding up a hoof to her to shake it, "What say you?"

"Well anypony can say they are an experienced fighter and I am not willing to risk it. Also wiggling wount work I am probably one of the most magical unicorns in Equestria" Ticktock stated he then starts walking somewhere safe with no bad guys around. 

 

Ticktock replied to Tyra "No I am not taking that chance!"

Red looked at the hoof distrustfully. She shook it and quickly dropped her hoof.

"Thank you," she said to the earth pony. "How can I prove to you that I am experienced if you don't set me down, then?" She demanded of the unicorn, and then added snidely, "and anyone can say they're one of the most magical unicorns..."

Tyra gave Ticktock a cocky smirk.

"She is right, you know," she agreed, "how is she able to prove herself capable if you continue to coddle her? I needed no special treatment when we met."

 

She leaned in again. "That is indeed a rather large boast, yet I am yet to see any proof of this claim."

Ticktock smirked at the mare "Well played miss well played." He then dropped her on the ground and pointed at a clockwork horror "If you can defeat that then you will prove yourself a worthy fighter but you only have 5 minuets after that im pulling you out and taking you to a safer place."

"what, she's fighting the rookie?" caliber asked, as he made his appearance. drenched in blood. not his, though.

 

"and who's fighting ticky? her?" he pointed his sword at red. "uhhh..." he stared at her for a couple seconds. "ooh, be careful, ticktock. the skill flows strong in this one."

Red ignored the newcomer and flew at the clockwork horror, slashing at it quickly. She jumped back, examining it. Relatively slow.

This should be a singe. Anything slower than her she could beat. At least, she'd never met an exception.

She pulled out some throwing knives and shot them at the horror, then sliced its head off smoothly.

"Good enough?" She asked, coolly, feeling a little proud actually. For some reason, she had wanted to prove herself.

Tyra watched as the newcomer took on the watchknight, and defeated it handily without a sweat.

 

"I am certainly impressed!" She grinned, and held out a hoof to her, "I would love to spar with you one day, if you wish to come along with us! Another pair of hooves is always welcome!"

"I dunno," Red said, rolling her eyes. She got more snarky when she was tired. "Should I prove myself to come with you guys, too?"

If she joined a group, things might be easier. She could learn from them, and she knew she could help them, and perhaps they could help her out of a corner, too. And, it didn't have to be permanent. Just for now... she could leave if things got sketchy. And... well... she was getting lonely.

"Who's us?" She asked the friendly earth pony.

Ticktock just stood and watched the newcomer behead the clockwork horror and let his mouth drop open "Um well I suppose it is good enough." Ticktock saw an Atherblade come at the new mare from behind, in response Ticktock fired and insanely powerful magic blast that streaked above and to either side of the mare. He then smirked saying "Is that enough proof for you that I am one of the most powerful unicorns?"

At the mare's question, Tyra grinned and pointed to herself, and then the other ponies respectively.

"Myself, Ticktock, and Caliber. There is also Ice Blizzard and Icarus, our doctor."

 

She put a hoof back on her chest, grinning proudly. "And I am Tyra Shatterhoof, of the Shatterhoof Clan!"

caliber jumped, and balanced on his hind legs on tyra's back. "im Caliber, the Wanderer, fourth strongest swordspony in Equestria, a title given to me by Celestia herself!!" he declared loudly. "could i ask your name?" he asked, "and how are you so good with a sword?"

Red stared at Ticktock. After a long moment, she settled on being annoying. "Passable."

She turned to Tyra. "Alright. Pleasure to meet you, Shatterhoof." She started at Caliber climbing on Tyra's back. "Ah, pleasure to meet you, Caliber." Fourth strongest, hm? I wonder who's stronger. "I am Red. I am self-taught. I train myself constantly to improve in my swordsplay." She turned back to Tyra-- or, lowered her head to Tyra-- "if I may join your group, I believe I can assist you. From today, it seems we are on the same side with the same goal: to help other ponies."

Tyra glanced at Ticktock's display, and nodded. "Indeed, rather impressive."

 

Sheraised an eyebrow and watched as Caliber stood on her back. Not that she couldn't take the weight.

She hoped this wasn't a crack at her height.

 

"And a pleasure to meet you, Red," she responded, giving her a respectful bow of the head, "It would be an honour to have a fellow warrior travel with us! Perhaps we may share tales soon?"
