I don't know what to think of S5 Episode

i love MLP and it is my fave animated show and it made me want to become animator. However, after waiting 9 months, and due to the A-Levels stress I had leading to tests and upcoming exams yet I'm doing fine. When I was watching The Cutie Map. I loved it up until the climax I don't know why but I was expecting something epic or a grand battle, I understand if it was subdued but since this was a unicorn with powers no pony has and not a plant take takes over Eqesutria,

 

But I don't know why, but something about the premiere felt off and really weird. I like it, but I'm supposed to live it but the climax really put me off and I don't know why

 

Is it me? Am I being over Critical? Can I ever love MLP the same way I usually do again or is it because I'm too used to it.

 I loved it up until the climax I don't know why but I was expecting something epic or a grand battle, 

 

I know the feeling. Its probably because of the DBZ like fight scene we saw with Tirek. After that, you tend to expect something similar or even more grand in scale. 

 

I wouldn't call the premier "epic" in the sense of the S4 finale, but I think it was great none the less. Much as I loved Twilight's Kingdom, I think this was a step in the right direction. Trying to one up the Tirek fight would have been somewhat silly, they needed to dial it back a bit and focus on story.

It doesn't have the traditional climax but I personally found this to be the most satisfying ending yet. We had ponies other than the mane six save the day! OMG is that even allowed?!

Don't judge the season based on the premiere.  I tend not to like the two-part premieres quite as much as the slice o' life type stuff / episodes that focus more on specific ponies.

NO!  It felt wrong!  Rainbow seemed to feel the same way about it. xD  Balloons.  BALLOONS, dammit!

This was more in line with previous premieres and finales, pre-Tirek. That one is the one that stands out as odd in comparison.

 

Personally, though, while I was glad to see new pony after 10 months, my favourite part of any season are the episodes between the premiere and the finale. Those really capture the essence of the show for me.

But guys, I just don't know whether I like ht episodes or not. Something was missing, but I can't think what.

This never happened before, I always love or hate an episode and still like the show. But one season primere, it never happened before, I don't know whether or not I'm a brony . I want to love the show, it made my realise my dream job of being an animator and it taughte me so much. So it is me or is it im losing intrest in the show?

 

Maybe it is because of the fact that I have no idea what Harrison-Bergeron or the George Orwell's 1984
