Hello everypony first off I'd like to say I'm sorry for not updating this fic in so ,one ! I've just been so busy with other projects that this one slipped my mind . I've gotten several wonderful reviews on this story however so I chise to continue it and I deeply appreciate all of these who are favs of ths story abd my other fanfics fir reading ths . Now let's begin !

It was a dark and terrible dsy fur all these who belived in harmony and friendship . A military base located on the far end if Twilight's teritory near the sea had just been attacked by the changelings . Very few ponies survived the attack and those that did were captured and used as livestock by the parasites . The changelings were looking to expand their kingdom and regain Theyre lost honor after tye wedding problem occurred . So the reason behind the raid was clear . Later Celestia gave a speech from the capital of the crystal empire ." Today we and everypony who stands for harmony had suffered a terrible loss .. After the attack the war went from a one siedd crusade to a full on bloodbath . As city after city fell to Discord's pose and the changelings began their empire regrowth the forces if harmony fought back with vigor . The easiest large victory cane when Twilight's solider cane to liberate the zebras from the Griffins . Not everything changed for the better though . Chaos camps now had more prisoners then ever . Canterlot was also a point of interest Discord had out Trixie in charge of it when the chaos army conquered it . No matter how hard Twilight and her fruends tried Trixie's forces would not give up . The air was also major battlefield Spitfure had lost many valuble soliders including Soarin to Rainbow Dash , Lightening Dust and the madness bolts . Both sides sent spies to each other and those spies were often murdered horribly. Direct battle was of coarse no better the two sides wouid just be in a slam are certi e they fought.

Then Twilight thought of a idea . Age realized all of Discord's major allies all had one thing in commen they all had rather large egos . She deduced to beat them instead of just relying on her strengths she wouid have to study his weaknesses namely his Pride .

 

For a whie after that things stayed relatively quiet . There were mnor fights occasionally but all the citizens of chaosville assumed they were winning thus war with ease . Discord began to give his people more leisure the solide and gegeraks hung out personally more often and the filly five housed their experiences fighting against harmony tweeter to form a sister type bond with each other and a fatherly relationship with Discord . However thus happy time did not last long fur the antagonists . It turns out that while Discord and the the army of chats had been wasting their time the harmony alliance began to launch a barrage of assults on their enemies .

Discord would not give up with out a fight . How every solider and ally available was sent onto the battlefield . Now the tables had turned . Many of his trope were killed in surplus trying to defend their territory and slowly places that had previously been in pure chaos now locked like they were split in half . Between chaos abd order . In response Discord and Pinkie tightness the grip of their power in the territory they still had

After a meeting with the generals . They decided that they wouid use a secret weapon against Twilight , Celestia and Luna they wouid use Spike . First they sent Chrysalis who disguised heref as Rarity and captured him then she used two spells on him one took all his positive memories with Twilight abd shoved them away leaving only the negative ones . Tye other was a stringer version of the love spell that also functioned as accidental truth serum . Spike actually found the queen phi ally attractive but was afraid of her personality . So she took all of his positive memories and replaced Twioight's face and voice with her own . Now Spike was completely under her control . For Twilight having her brother corrupted was the last straw .

 

It was known as the day of restoration . Every pony and race loyol to Twioight's army launched a full scale attack on the now chaotic canterlot . It was the single most humiliating and devastating drfet Discod had suffered . It was all downhill for him and his s partners from there . They fought several other battles against tye forces of harmony but the majority of them were lost . Eventually Gilda was killed abd the Griffins jones Twilight's side . The only thing for ten thst stil, remained was a few of the chaos camps and the fact that Spike seemed to have developed Stockholm syndrome and didn't seem to mind Chrysailis . Which enraged Twilight because it took her forever to force information on how to break the spells from Trixie , Sunset Shimmer and Sweetie Belle . However despite being heartbroken over the loss of her littie brother's good heart she was happy that Discord and the others wouid finally pay for all the ponies they made suffer .
