I personally think it would, and her having a cutie mark without an apple would look awkward, like playing "spot the obvious difference!". Anyways, if the tradition sticks to pony's cutie marks matching their names, Apple Bloom could be getting some kind of flower, and I could honestly see that happening. Now that I think of it, there's an Apple Family member without an apple-relate mark. Remember Octavia's recolor "Fiddle Sticks"? All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people. I mean yeah we'll have Apple Bloom come to accept it, but what about...say...Granny Smith? It would be a GREAT lesson if they incorporated having adults learn to accept their child for who they are; not what they want them to be.
