Explain the cannon, but I'm 99 percent sure a clunky weapon that can't be floated around that he takes too long to pull out is seriously no match for a town sized bolt of lightning. If he even gets a shot off.

Also, I'm kind of using a pre-fight event to reveal a little more lore to my characters along with Darkrai/Kazas events. Might take a little while to prepare, as long as a wrench doesn't get thrown in there by the sun blacking out again or something XD

I could consider a conversion to Wilhelm becoming a pegasus, but I like the current angle I have, especially the prejudice and stereotype upheaval that occurs. Usually, pegasi are athletes and such like RD, and I kind of like having a pegasus that completely ignores this convention.

 

An arc cannon.... is kind of hard to explain. It was designed as a heavy artillery weapon, but Wilhelm made a scale prototype that a pony could use. The main issue is that the second mode doesn't work and the first mode doesn't even vaporize as planned, merely melt, burn, and (sort of) shatter, and even then to an unfortunately limited degree. If you want, I can elaborate on how it works (or how it's supposed to work), but just realize that this will probably be an antitank rifle-size weapon which will drain its batteries utterly after a single shot. For reference, in WW2, the PTRS antitank rifle was slightly longer than the average human soldier.

 

TL;DR: Yes, it's big, but quasi-manageably so.

That's what's actually out of her element. She can however use a variation of the Come to Life spell to animate inanimate objects, like Sparky for example. These don't need souls to become sentient, similar to Annete's dolls. Those however share her own one apparently.

 

We could try most of that list really, with mixed results.

True, except even though they may be sentient, they are bound by the will of the creators. What I'm talking about is creating something that is unbound. Something that can freely make its own choices through logic, emotion, etc.
