Grumpy Enchantress 587 May 1, 2015 Author Share May 1, 2015 It helps Fluttershy, but would it help the watchers? I don't know, but I think it could be entertaining since the show is getting more dark anyway.
silvadel 1,393 May 1, 2015 Share May 1, 2015 (edited) Actually, wintering tortoises do have a decent shot at not surviving. I don't think RD would take it well if Tank failed to survive the winter. I could see her blaming everypony. She would be mad at her friends for encouraging her to let Tank bruminate. She would be mad at herself for eventually giving in... Jangocoolguy 433 May 1, 2015 Share May 1, 2015 Eh, I wouldn't be bothered. With the possible exception of Owloucious, the pets are so underdeveloped and appear so infrequently they're non-entities. I'll mourn a character who's actually done enough AND gotten enough screen time to warrant being sad over. Not some animals who've barely shown up, let alone done anything. There! I said my piece. "It's like I found a piece of myself I didn't even know was missing!" How do you think WE feel?!

Grumpy Enchantress 587 May 2, 2015 Author Share May 2, 2015 But a bunny, a baby bunny, dying! An evil bunny that torturerd Fluttershy and Spike. Not a huge loss.
ScarfaceOne 263 May 2, 2015 Share May 2, 2015 I remember an Arthur episode where DW's budgie dies, and she gets a pet frog instead. And an episode of Charlie and Lola where they had a pet rat that died. I Don't know if Winona or Tank dying would be a thing, but I felt a lot of pain when my old dog, Dudley died. And more, that year, my Aunt's dog, Skelly, and a dog she only had for three days, Star. And others died that year. The only victim in graffiti is the architect. Graffiti is not a crime. colt_following 169 May 2, 2015 Share May 2, 2015 Ehh. Death is quite a darned bit too dark for something like this. But a minor antagonist does die pretty clearly in one of the comic arcs. I can't see any pets dying, though... That's just so heavy and I'm not sure "kids" need to deal with a subject like that. I'm open to a change of mind, though. Come join the Equestria Big Band project! "A little glass of water, please..."

The Awesome One 1,315 May 13, 2015 Share May 13, 2015 The younger ones who watch this show just would not be able to take it. It is too dark for them to have an adorable little animal die on screen on their favourite show.
