So i've took note of how people act in-game, and noticed these behaviors. Really tells a lot about them; no offense to you guys. I am not trolling any gamer by saying this, just wanting to point these things out.

I can understand you're passionate, but there are two types of passionate; one good and one bad. 

Good: 
- You respect those around you and enjoy yourself.
- You don't attack people for stupid reasons such as K/D being low.
- They mind themselves and never try to be dicks.
- Never call you an idiot for "your" opinion.
- Play for the fun

Bad
- Troll you at any given moment to be douchebags
- Don't have any sign of humility
- Disrespectful
- Message you about being a scrub
- Take this game way too seriously and try to be a cry baby or the like.

So these are my peeves, and my likes of certain passionate players; the lesson? Take the game too seriously and you don't deserve to be respected; only laughed at.

Nothing new. All multiplayer games have toxic players (though ones with smaller playerbase tend to have nicer players). Worst I've experienced is League of Legends. Battlefield playerbase used to be mostly nice players but eventually became as bad as COD.

I know its not new, but this has been the case with most games these days. I'm getting really tired of people trying to bring me down.

I never take such players seriously though; at best they're amusing and at worst they're irritating. Not something that will ever disappear unfortunately or fortunately depending on whether they more often irritate or amuse you.

Worst I've experienced is League of Legends

 

This game is mostly about how long your nerves can withstand against players who can't lose. The community is the worst I have ever seen, still I like playing with my friends...

No advanced warfare on my laptop, only good old WW2 armored and aerial warfare on War Thunder.

 

The only problems we have are some noobs who don't know anything about WW2 coming here lately as the playerbase is growing bigger. It's the kind of people who wonder why they get one-shotted by 88mm guns in their M4A1 tank.

I'm not sure who's side I'm suppose to be on in that video, mainly because the person speaking in it is incredibly...well, obnoxious, maybe that was his intention.

 

I think one of the main issues with gaming nowadays, especially multiplayer gaming, is the sense of 'competition' that society has been throwing into everything. Many people now want to feel like they are above the competition and above their peers in these games, so when they don't do well, they resort to anger and hostility. Probably because of this weird 'competitive hive-mind' that goes around these games. That could just be human nature really. I will admit I am guilty of this as well, not really now but definitely when I was getting into online gaming, I kinda had a temper. I still do, I just avoid that kind of stuff. Really, these competitive games create way too much hostility in my opinion, which is why I wish more co-op centered games would be hyped up.
