Draco had returned to his hide out once more. He looked onto his laptop he was currently looking for a job. And he found it the payout was pretty good 900k not bad considering. His donation to the treatment of someone special to him. Now it was time for the Kitsune to steal again. He drove out to the bank to scope it out making sure not to attract attention to him. He whistled to himself as he parked his new van.

 

Draco looked at the bank with an almost greedy look to it. He sighed to himself as he then saw Pat. "Ball," Draco said as he needed to be careful now. He was without his mask. That meant he would be seen. Of course he was nervous on the inside.

"Interesting, interesting. Nanites are those really small robots right? I think that was one of the things those scientists wanted to do experiments on me with, but I broke out before it came to that. Do all the experiments they want since I couldn't really be severely damaged by them was their mantra," Shade said with a solemn tone.

 

But once Silver mentioned weapons, he perked up. "Weapon prototypes? Oh I just love experimental weapons!" He rushed over to the prototypes and picked one up and inspected it. "What does this one do?"

Silver nods, "I suppose I'm not the only one who was trying to work with them. They're robots that are orders of magnitude smaller than a human eye can see, almost the size of atoms honestly. I'm sorry you had to go through that kind of experimentation, it was honestly some of the most ridiculous pain I've ever felt, though for myself I'd say that the benefits may have been worth it in the long run.

 

The mention of the weapons perks her up, and she notes that he picked up the most streamlined and done-looking weapon, a composition of swooping organic lines and glowing lines, "Oh that? It's a directed energy weapon... A plasma rifle in layman's terms... It wasn't something I could use since I never got the ground working the EMP it creates would have fried out my nanites. That and the power consumption are why I could never make it work for real." She says, feeling a bit of annoyance at her lack of success

"His face was covered in scars. One particular scar was going down one side of his face from the top of his forehead to his chin. His eyes though were what I saw the most. His eyes were red but not just red, a blood red. As if all the victims he ever killed were in those eyes. I don't think I've ever seen such hatred until looking in those eyes. What are we going to do Jane? We can't handle someone like this. This man has been killing for a long time. This isn't the first time he's killed. He's been doing it for years now. To him its all just a game. We need some help. I'm so scared. I didn't know I'd be signing on to this". Lilith knew she was freaking out but no one had seen the pure evil intention behind those eyes. Not like what she had seen.

Jane sighed "We will need to set up a team, you are very sensitive to psychic energy which is good, but we need more, several metas have the ability to detect darkness, one of those on our teams would be good to have, I know some one who could help track one down...hes...not my first choice..but he gets a job done" She takes out her phone and dials a number

Lilith looks on as Jane dials. Suddenly her phone rings as well. She pulls out her phone from her pants pocket. It's her father. Of course he's worried it's 9pm. She's been gone all day. Excusing herself she goes into the nearest restroom to talk to her father. ((for the father I'll have his dialogue be in orange))

"Hi Daddy" "What is going on I haven't seen you all day. You weren't at the bar. Rico ((i forget the friend's name)) took over your shift but didn't say what you were doing? I'm really worried about you Lilly. I've been fretting all day over here. I haven't even had a drink." Lilith started crying. "I'm so sorry Daddy..I...just didn't want to tell you. I picked up a new job in the city. I'm working in an office. It's really great here and I just wanted some money to keep the bar in business." "Awww honey was that all. You could have just told your old man that and I can still take care of you. I'm not so old that I can't provide for my family yet."

 

Overall the phone conversation went nicer than Lilith though. She felt so bad though for lying to her dad but she couldn't tell him about this. This absolutely terrifying horror. Tears welled up in her eyes and she sank to the floor. She couldn't look this weak in front of Jane like this and especially if she was getting a partner. She didn't want to be the weak one. The Cheshire cat put it's paw on her knee and she looked down a it. It's eyes were pitch black, no pupils at all. In her mind she heard the cat speak Buck up girly we have a long way to go. The grin on the cat extended showing its human teeth with sharp molars. Lilith got back up and went out to meet Jane.

"Leave. I won't chase you. But I swear if I even suspect that any of you will pull the trigger I'll...you won't like how this ends. Let's just say that." Green said pointing his sword at them.

"So go ahead. Make a move, but if you shoot you better mot miss." He smiled at them.

"Plasma gun? Oh I like the sound of that. Too bad it's not able to be used. I would be your guinea pig if you ever get it right..." Shade put the prototype down and looked at the others. "Any thing else of interest?" Shade leaned against the table, waiting for Silver to point out anything else.

Suddenly, Shade's phone rang. "Wait, who has my number?" Shade took out his cell and answered it. "Hello?"

"I have a job for you, interested?" while she was on the phone she took out a tablet and started looking a few things up "You will be paid well, and have access to special resources"

Green took a step back. "Go. Leave. I'm tired of your faces staring at me. If your not gone by the count of three...1..."His sword started to glow. "2...Run boys...2 and a haalf..." The sword grew even brighter and sparks started coming out of the top and sides of the sword's blade.

As Shade listened to the offer, he lifted up one finger as the woman on phone said what he liked. Shade looked at his hand and saw three fingers up. "So according to my calculations, it looks like I am interested. Question is though, what do you need me to do?" Shade mouthed the word job to Silver, to indicate the reason for the call.

"I need a meta tracked down" she swipes the tablet "She goes by the name Weiss or Schwartz, her powers center around light and darkness, be careful she is very powerful, I need her brought to a secure location, a certain rooftop, her file and the location of the rooftop will be on the pdf i will send your phone, this is a government contract, so youll have access to police resources, if you need them go to the station and tell the desk "special access Y14F" she will direct you to the police armory and garage. you will be paid $20k upon retrieval of the meta, I need her alive, and taken in non violently, I need her cooperation as she is needed for a team i am putting together, however, if force is needed, just remember i need her alive and in good condition"

When Green saw him look back he put his back to the wall to the side of him and covered his arm with the sword. He felt something bounce off the sword and he looked back towards the gang members, who were nowhere to be seen. "Dumbnut." He climber a building and sat on the roof.

Silver nods slowly, then has a flash of inspiration. She begins frantically writing on a piece of note paper, running calculations and mumbling to herself, "Yes... If I reconfigure that with that, it could work... Yes, that would work nicely..." She smiles, then begins to look things over as Shade talks on the phone. She hands him a scrap of paper saying, "I have an idea, we should talk once you're done talking with that woman."

Manhattan was in his personal lab when a buzzer sounded from a telephone not too far away. He looked over at it before turning to a computer screen showing a set of cameras. The one of outside the elevator showed the woman carrying the B17 canister. Manhattan wasted no time in buzzing her up to his floor. A full minute passed before the elevator doors in the back opened up and out stepped the woman. "I have the container sir." She said professionally. "Excellent Ms.Graves. Let me have a look at it.." Manhattan said, taking the container from her. "Oh yes, I have big plans for you."

"So you need a supe tracked down and captured? Sounds very doable. I'll take the job. Do you government peeps have a last known location from where I can start? I may have good tracking skills but I will need somewhere to start from," Shade commented as he grabbed a pen and wrote the special access code on the paper Silver handed him. Afterwards he nodded to acknowledge what Silver said.

Silver smiles at the mention of tracking, "See if you can get a physical description or a picture, I can cross-reference it with the security cameras all over the city to at least tell you where she's not." She says quietly, making sure that the person on the other line can't hear her

"yes, she lives in an apartment here in town, ill send you the address in the pdf" she hung up and sent his phone a PDF file containing information on Weiss/Schwartz, including her apartment, a list of her powers, and profile with a picture, and the location of the rooftop she is to be brought to

"It seems the government wants to capture some supe for some project. I just got a PDF with all the info we need, and access to a police armory. But looking at this file, it seems we may have our work cut out for us." Shade handed to the phone to Silver for her to look at the PDF.

Silver smiles, "I already have the information, I scan any cell signals that come into this building, seeing as I had to install a repeater in order to get any reception at all. Whoever this super is, she's pretty goddamn powerful. Don't worry though, I have a few ideas to deal with her powers, and I'm beginning to send out a tracking request now. It may take a while to set everything in motion, but it should work out everything soon..."

 

She then remembers the point that she was going to go over with him before, "You said you were willing to be a guinea pig for some of my unfinished toys right? Well I think I came up with a way to fix the power consumption problem, and since you don't have a body that relies on electronics to live you shouldn't have to worry about the EMP effect..." She smiles, "So how would you like a rifle that can melt through five inch thick tungsten?"

"Remind me to never have a private cell call in your lair. Oh wait, I never have private phone calls, so scratch that." Shade inspected the PDF more thoroughly. He spent a few seconds looking it over until Silver grabbed his attention with the words guinea pig.

 

"Five inches of tungsten? I really like the sound of that. But you said EMP? I rather keep my little HAMSPACE in working order though. Unless you can dampen the device, I've heard it could be done," Shade replied.

Silver nods, "Best to avoid making calls of any kind when you're in the lair of a person who prides herself on being the absolute bleeding edge of technology." She thinks for a moment, "I think I could dampen it a lot, my big problem is that I can't eliminate it entirely... I could potentially cloak the entire thing in RF insulating material, but then we would have heating problems that would necessitate that you fire it in... Maybe four shot bursts at most... It would need a minute or so of cooldown between bursts since the heatsinks couldn't protrude past the insulator.

A figure who was already on the roof was sitting against an air conditioner unit looking at a tablet, he looked up and saw green "hello here my friend" his accent was thick, sounded eastern european

I tracked down a dragon here in this city!" he showed him the tablet, there was a red dot located on the docks "I encountered him earlier, but dragons are hardy beasts, hunts last a long times, several days sometimes, and it is difficult to take out one living in a city! but not impossible, it just takes time and patience"
