William was rechecking his map to see if he missed anything. He eats another candy and notices Ocean trotting back towards the group, "Hey Ocean do you need anything?" he puts his lunch away into his camping bag and rolls up the map. Ocean tells travel what Aspen said and they walk back to the front of the group. "Hey Aspen and the two randomly falling ponies, also, what are you guys called?" He pulls his lunch bag out again "Mind if i eat my lunch?"

"Well, let's talk about it between us first. I think Sylvia-- kinda the leader around here-- is getting some ponies to start organizing houses and getting ponies to actually ask for plots of land first. How big do we want this to be? And are we gonna need builders? I can handle myself with a hammer and saw if we don't," Blitz said, shrugging.

"Ah mapping I see" Sky replied as Ocean went back to get some pony else. When they returned and the new pony asked his name Sky smiled and said"I am Sky Streak sir and what is your name?" He replied to the newly arrived pony. In his mind he was joyful as he finally seemed to be making some new friends.

"Well I..." Peregrine held a hoof to her chin. "How big? Well that really depends. I think it'd make sense for me to have my home on a second floor, and I might eventually meet other ponies who like hoof and mane care as a job, so having room for hiring would make sense? And if we end up getting builders, how am I going to afford that?"

 

Looking a little anxious, Peregrine walked in a circle. "So maybe we should talk to Sylvia, see what she has planned for the buildings? Maybe I could start a stall to start raising funds for the business? But how much should I charge?"

Blitz chuckled. "Calm down," she said, gently. "Starting up a stall might be a good idea, though. I don't think land costs anything yet, but I think they might start some sort of tax system in the next few years." That's what I would do, anyway. "A home combined with the business would probably be a good idea. But maybe build up there. First a stall, then a one story building with a separate room to live, then once you have more money we can ask a construction team to add a second story and maybe touch up the place a little to look nicer. Speaking of construction, Sharp might be willing to help. He's good at that sort of thing, and us three might be able to build a little something on our own." Blitz said, stroking Socks all the while, who meowed.

"Okay," said Peregrine, before taking a deep breath. "I guess it'd be best to see if we can get the land for the property first, set up the stall, and then work on the building..." It was just a daunting task, all she ever wanted was to help keep ponies comfortable and a little fashionable. A business was just so much extra... but if it meant eventually being able to do it for more ponies, it was worth it.

 

"So should we go see Sylvia about this, and then ask Ever Sharp if he'd be willing to help with the construction?"

Glider sighed at his worry, but knew he was probably right. House building seemed to be, in a word, tough--she'd seen ponies moving along construction materials, and they were heavy and unwieldy and she had been to frightened to volunteer. Perhaps she ought to, to learn more, so she could greater help Guy-Man.

 

She blushed at Guy-Man's final comment. She--a little uncertainly--put a strong wing around him, and looked out at the clearing. "We'll get there," she said optimistically, "And it'll be all worth it. So," she added, looking at him. "You're probably hungry, after all that time in the forest. Did you manage to find any food in there?"

"Agreed," Blitz said, nodding, and getting up. "No need to worry, Peregrine. You're going to be great. Let's go see Sylvia," she said decisively. "Shall we go now, or later?" Blitz was getting a little hungry, but wouldn't say so aloud. Socks would though, as he began meowing annoyingly from hunger as soon as she stood up. Lazy cat, he doesn't even eat anything I get him, she thought, rolling her eyes at him.

 

"I think Sock's hungry," she said, drily.

Sparkle looked around at many ponies all of them turning away in neglect and saying stuff like "oh she's back" and walking off before somepony explained to her why nopony liked her "it's suicide the reason they don't like you is because you tried to commit suicide just get back to the farm you ain't welcome around here no more" He said pushing her over and kicking sand in her eyes

Aspen shrugged, "Go ahead.  Oh, yeah, and this is Sky Streak and Night Tracer.  They were walking with us back to town.  Anyway, would you mind coming with Ocean and I when we talk to Sylvia?  We're showing her the map, and you probably know it a lot better than we do."  Aspen turned to the two pegasi.  "And, if you want, I guess you could come, too."

Travel replied (He kinda said all of this fast-ish) "I am Travel Hooves, basically I can speak almost every known language and I've traveled all of equestria, and i have the world record for surviving the longest in the everfree forest for 5 days and would you like a jellybaby?" He held out a strange gummy candy in his hoof with a big grin.

Night Tracer leaned forth and bowed. Then nudged Sky Streak to do the same, "It would be our honor," he looked at the ground, then back up at the other three ponies and chuckled with a wide smile, "Haha, yeah, sure I'd love to come! What exactly would we be doing though?" he coked a brow and asked. 

He was curious but wasn't all for throwing himself into some laborious task or something.

Guy-Man replied to Glider's question with "Yeah, I'm a survivor, what can I say," he chuckled a bit then continued. "I found some blueberries, some raspberries, some blackberries, and some strawberries. There are also a lot of plants I couldn't identify, so we should probably get some experts out here, after we claim the land, I mean. I know it's selfish, but I want this area to myself, I want to have a place that's surrounded by nature, a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life." He looked over to the sapphire waters of the waterfall and he remembered about the flawless sapphire he found. He kind of directed Glider's attention over to the waterfall and said "The water here is so beautiful, it kind of reminds me of sapphires. I always thought that sapphires were the prettiest of gems, what about you?"

Sparkle stumbled around for a bit confused before she bumped into a shape that looked fermilier (Ehem Travel) and fell backwards trying to rub the sand from her eyes "can you like sand eyes remove please?" Sparkle was just a little tired well not sleeping for like 5 days and doing construction kinda mabye has that effect...

Glider had been impressed by Guy-Man's description of his survival. At his final question, Glider said, "I love running water," watching the waterfall. "It's so calming, so peaceful. I like the color blue, for the same reasons--not just because I'm blue," she added quickly. "So, I guess I do like sapphires the most. I think all gemstones are pretty. I don't really think about them much, though." She glanced at him, and asked curiously, "What brought sapphires to your mind? ...Has anyone ever told you that you have fur the shade of a perfect sapphire?" she added, the topic bringing this to her mind. "It's nice."

As he was nudged by Night Tracer, Sky followed his lead and bowed, an occurance he would ask about later. "Yes I would love to come" Sky replied as he got back up. "I am afraid to say that I can not stay long however, I have many things to attend to back at my own home. It is up on the plateau, in case you were wondering."

Guy-Man's cheeks turned ruby red (see what I did there?) at the compliment. "No, uhh, nopony's ever told me that," he said unsure how to reply. "Thank you though. Oh, right, what brought sapphires to my mind was this," he said, pulling the flawless gemstone out of his bag.

"I think maybe a meal first would go over well, give us some time to let some more thoughts boil to the surface? Then go see Sylvia." Peregrine led the way to the forest, having memorized the way to some fruit trees a short way in from the exploring she had done over the last two weeks.

 

"Blitz. Glider told me you were a teacher back in Equestria, but I never really got a chance to talk more about it. Have you considered opening up a schoolhouse?" Peregrine blushed at the next thought crossing her mind. "I mean, after two years of being on a ship, a lot of ponies are probably going to want to be... getting on with their lives."

Glider gaped at the gemstone, and her teal fur turned the same shade as his. "Oh, my, is that--" wait no, it might not be for me, don't get your hopes up--no, wait, he wouldn't have pulled it out if it was for somepony else--maybe he's just showing me--"It's so pretty!" Glider said, staring at it. Her hoof touched it--it looked like it had been polished and crafted by a fine jeweler. "Where did you--did you buy this, or find it?" she asked, rather awed by it.

 

Only in her early life had Glider ever held a real gemstone like this, when her family had been the high in Canterlot; it had been many years since she had even seen such a perfect jewel, especially having been stuck on the boat so long. This factor only increased her interest in the sapphire. "It's beautiful," Glider repeated, and glanced up at him, smiling, and couldn't help but ask hesitantly, "Is it for me?"

"I was thinking of keeping it for myself," Guy-Man said teasingly and held it up high so that she couldn't reach it anymore. "Nah, I'm just messing with you, it is for you. I just found it wedged in between a few rocks. I saw something sparkling when we were walking to get dinner... how long ago was it? A few days ago? Maybe a week? Anyways, I trotted over to it to see what it was and I found this. I can't believe it was so perfectly formed though, it seems untouched," he said, giving Glider the sapphire. "I'll try to find somepony who will make it into a necklace for you, I think you will look very pretty in it. Well, prettier than you already are, if that's possible."

Blitz paused, wincing slightly. She didn't want to be a teacher. She was good at it, sure. But the foals were all... annoying! Not to mention the pay was no good.

 

A different thought occurred to her, one that hadn't yet. This place wasn't Canterlot. Or Equestria. In Equestria, it was the ponies that didn't have to work that were high-class.

 

Here, she suddenly realized, the ponies that did something they specialized in were the ones that were going to end up high-class. Because in the end, high-class didn't depend on money-- it depended on respect and the friends one made. And opening a school would definitely get respect and friends.

 

"I haven't really thought about it," Blitz said, following Peregrine. "Maybe I will."

Glider had felt a moment of intense apprehension at Guy-Man's teasing, but relaxed as he'd broken into a chuckle, her brief embarrassment vanishing, and she liked him more for his new-found humor. She was surprised at his story, and still felt flattered even as he gave her the sapphire. Her blush deepened profusely again at this point as she took it, her hooves shuffling on the ground at his complement. "You're too sweet," she said. It came out more as a mumble through her blush, but it still had the clarity of her gratitude at his interest in her.

 

She marveled at how happy she was with this pony, and looked at him, this emotion sparking in her eyes. "Thank you," she said, hugging him again, not really knowing how to form words. She was usually alright with words--not as charismatic as Blitz by any stretch, but she could speak her mind--but the emotions welling up inside her were very strong, and she was just... happy, to have him back after the separation. "You--you're the real gift, not just this sapphire," she said after a moment, managing to speak again.

(OOC: I almost used 2 different names [both wrong] because I'm in a few other RPs. XD)

Guy-Man was unsure how to respond to what the mare said. It seemed obvious to him that she was attracted to him, but he was worried she was attracted for the wrong reasons, perhaps it was because he was famous, perhaps because she felt she could live "the good life" if they were together, although she didn't seem like somepony who would do such things. His cheeks were burgundy by now with how much he was blushing. He finally hugged her back and spoke, "I've never felt this great around anypony besides you. I know this might be rushing things, but I've spent a lot of time alone in these woods, and have had plenty of time to think, and I think...  I think I love you..."

"eyes sand in help" Sparkle said beginning to fall asleep "sleep need" she fell backwards and slept for 0.3 seconds before the sand in her eyes woke her up "it hurts Travel plus sleep is needed" Sparkle continued trying to rub the sand from her eyes but ended up rubbing even more in thanks to her sandy hooves
