How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Long story short I was in grad school in the latter half of 2011 and got curious about all the bans on pony material on 4chan. I got bored in class one day and looked up some of the fan art and was blown away by some of the effort people put into it. Later when I got home I watched the first two episodes and thought it was alright but not too special. Gave it a rest for a week or so and started watching a few more until I hit episode 6 (I think it is) with Trixie and I had to cut it short as my housemates came home...I spent the entire time in class the next day wondering if Twilight was going to best Trixie so I guess I was hooked at that point. I'm a fairly outgoing 32 year old male from the Pacific Northwest (unfortunately I had to miss EverfreeNW because I couldn't get the weekend off in time) and have a fairly boring life. I divide my time between my work as a medical laboratory scientist and my hobbies which include running my farm, engine building/racing, playing the guitar/bass/banjo and a host of other outdoor activities. I've been a fan of the show since about the middle of 2011 but never joined any forums or really talked to anyone about it until now so I'm hoping to meet some cool people.
