"I just know...He owes... owed my mother a favor, and I plan on cashing that favor in." Hazmat said, before looking at the steel ranger, chains, and crowbar "Well what are we waiting for? Lets get a move on, we don't have all day, the night stalkers starting hunting as soon as the sun falls beneath the horizon and I don't want to have to amputate a limb off one of you because you got yourself bitten..." He said, looking to the south and towards the giant tower of the Lucky 38... a beacon in the wasteland of Civilization.... and sin.

When a new song poped on the radio Crowbar's grin got bigger as he walked alongside the others to the beat. "I love free side! Met a few lovely ladies there. I also got good with a few of the merchants there. And don't worry about making new ammo. IT's one of my many many skills. Master fixer, remember?" He chuckled.

 

"And fiends ain't heard to handle. took out three before I met ya'll. Got a carton of cigarettes, .44 ammo, two bottles of whiskey and some psycho off them."

"Well for the last time let us get going," before turning to leave another song I knew filled the quiet landscape with its loud tune. Crowbar began doing his marketing thing again. I swear he has a one track mindset, I guess that's more beneficial to my cause so I might as well learn to tolerate the stallion. "Like I said don't worry about the fiends we got that taken care of so lets get a move on." I said before finally moving my hoovesto follow Nuclear. Yeah my mission is gonna take a while with this rabble constantly filling my ears.

Chain looked back and saw how Hazel looked a bit mad at the music "Just be happy I didn't do that when we traveled before" he said still walking ahead of the group. this is going to take a day or two Chain thought this is bad because now we have more members that take more resources but good because we have unlikely members which means we could do better fighting and lead by example to others and hopefully make peace.

"If you are going to listen to the radio, turn it to Radio New Pegas, I like some news with my Music." Hazmat said. He then looked at Chains "North Pegas Square is only about 2 hours walk from here, just stick to the roads and watch out for Geckos and Radscorpions. But most of all, if you see a Cazador, don't try and fight they will kill you... Even you Steel Ranger. Just avoid them, don't mess with them and they won't mess with you.... hopefully" He said, he didn't have the medicine to heal a Cazador sting. He then looked at Crowbar "I can make my own ammo, I just need the supplies to make some. also do yourself a favor and stop bragging, it is getting on my nerves. If you don't, I will take it upon myself to humble you..."

Cazadores, what in the hay kind of name is that? Whatever they were if they can harm a steelranger like a hellhound might as well stay in their good graces. Walking along I heard Nuclear mouth off to Crowbar about his marketing shtick, glad somepony finally did he was kinda getting annoying. "You fellas use junk rounds? That stuff destroys your gun faster then stomping on it, figuratively of course." I said trying to pass the time with some conversation no matter how mundane.

"I don't use Junk Rounds, I use the real Ammunition but I need things like Lead, Cases, Primers, gunpowder et cetera. to make them. Also I do know how to make special .44 rounds, they don't pack as much of a punch but they don't break down your weapon. The Rounds in my revolver are .44 Specials. also I can make a hand loaded version that can be used to punch through armor. Weaker then a Full Metal Jacket round but more powerful then a normal round" He said, still looking at the Lucky 38. "Oh yeah, another rule, when we get to the King, let me do the talking. I don't want anypony bad mouthing him if he isn't being cooperative, I will handle it. Got that?" He looked back at the group and waited for an answer "Also, Crowbar, no offering your services to any of his gang members or him. Got that? I don't want you talking their ears off!"

"You're listening to Radio New Pegas, your little jukebox in the Moohave Wasteland, I'm Mr. New Pegas and I have some News for you coming right up; Citizens of outer Pegas have flocked to the Strip in droves amid a wave of terror caused by a band of Raiders called the Fiends. Those that can afford passports are saying 'the added security is worth the price of the price of admission.' Moohave? Mo' Problems am I right? hahaha Hey New Pegas? have you ever said you loved somepony when it wasn't quite true? Well you shouldn't, because its a sin to tell a lie. hahaha."

"What do you mean by new technology robots? Last time I checked the only robots around were built around tow hundred years ago in a factory that's probably destroyed by now. But yes I do fancy a good sentinel, lovely works of art those machines are." I said as I walked and listened to the new song playing on the pipbucks radio. Hmmm haven't heard this song before, guess I'll trymy best to enjoy it.

Crowbar made a face. "Hey, hey, hey. I Gotta make a livin', bud.  It's how I make my caps. Well that and the occasional poker game. And cause I trade the merchants some good stuff to sail I'm pretty will liked in free side. So you can't tell me what to do. Besides, who made you the leader of this outfit?"

"Just don't want any of you getting killed... I got a heavy enough conscience a is... and I don't think Chains and the Ranger are from around here, so they need to know this stuff. I don't see you telling them this, you have just been trying to offer your services to them. " He said, looking at Crowbar "Also I don't want to take command, to much work... to much responsibility." He finished before going back to looking at the Lucky 38's tower.

"I could have phrased that better hehe" Chain said a little embarrassed and saw a few rad scorpions "guys look over there" he said pointing to all the rad scorpions that were about 30 yards  "there is exactly 4 of them and one's stinger looks damaged, thanks VATS"

"These rad scorpion attacks are getting ridiculous. We need more funding to get enough antidotes and stimpacks to help every pony that comes into the clinic." Said Gypse Rose as she talked with a male unicorn in a plaid suit. " well Missy. We ain't donating any more caps. There's no profit! I thought that the only thing used more than the bars around this place would be the med tents. I was right but you don't charge anything other than what it costs to get more medicine! I want profit" Gypse frowned. " of course you do... " she patted his back. " well thanks anyways. " she said as he left. She looked down at the bash of caps she had picked from his pockets and went to buy medicine.

Ignoring the little verbal scuffle crowbar and nuclear were having I payed attention to Chains warning. Four radscorpions with one injured, that meant something must have hurt it and it might be more of a priority then the four arachnids up ahead. "I don't want to waste any ammo on small time, want to go stop on them or something?" I asked Chain," or do you prefer you use that pistol of yours?"

"I have a better Idea then stomping, and it uses the least magical effort I can provide" he says then cricks his neck "I'm going to smash them into the ground until they stop moving" he says getting a little closer to them and picks up one with levitation then smashes it down into the sand "if you guys want to chime in be my guest" Chain keeps on what he does to every rad scorpion "you remember that I lead the way because I can see well right? these glasses just help even more"

"Make sure the poison glands are not damaged! I can use them for Anti-venom!" Hazmat said, watching him crushing them with his magic. "The poison gland is at the tip of the tail, where the stinger is, at least tare it off before crushing them. " He pulled out his revolver and pulled back the hammer, he wasn't going to waste ammo but if one got to close he wanted to be ready.

Gypse paid for the meds and then gave them to the clinic. " hope this helps. I'm gunna head out and see if I can gather supplies. " she gathered up some things and headed into the wastes. After a bit she came across the group fighting the rad scorpions and hood watching them.

"I know I know I killed the one with the busted poison gland first" he picked up the last three tore there stingers off and looked away from the sight of the three slowly bleeding out "I cant stand to see this...it's just to much blood" he said as he dropped them to the ground from a height that would kill them and brought the stingers in front of Hazmat

"Don't be such a pansy... it is just blood... we all have about 1.5 gallons of blood rushing through our vain. Whats next? your going to say you can't stand the sight of Child Birth?. " He said before cracking open the stingers and taring the poison gland out. The bloody gland were mostly in good condition, one was broken and some poison was oozing out of it. Hazmat tossed the broken gland and used his hoof to scrape some of the blood off the glands before putting the glands in his saddle bag... the opposite bag as his bitter drink. "But thanks for the glands, they can come in handy. "

Crowbar got his sledgehammer ready but he didn't really jump in. Mostly because the others seemed like they had things handled. So he just waited till things were done. But he kept himself ready to jump in whenever someone needed help or something. While he waited he leaned on his hammer a little.

"I can take blood just, the green makes me think of something that I don't want to talk about" he said a little sad "lets just keep going forward!" he says snapping out of in and smiled heading back in the direction of freeside when he saw a shadow behind a rock that looked a lot like a pony "I think I see something else as well behind that rock" he pointed to it

(9 perception plus 1 perception glasses= can see almost everything in front of him)

Chain picked up one of the radscorpions with his levitation and brought it back down into the earth over and over again. Nuclear pulled out his revolver and watched, while crowbar did the same but with his sledgehammer. After Chain was done smashing the radscorpions to bits Nuclear quickly picked out the scorpions poison glands and shoved them into his saddlebag. Before I could say anything Chain was pointing at a rock formation and stating that somepony was there. I would of called him crazy but my E.F.S showed a yellow blip where he was pointing at. With a groan I made my way towards the rock revving up my minigun just in case this joker decided to change his mind about being friendly. "Come out we know your there, save me some trouble and come out with your hooves up!"

Hazmat walk over to the Ranger and looked at the Rock. 'it... is a rock... great I am in a group full of crazy ponies... I already knew they were crazy... but not this crazy... Maybe the heat is getting to them, the Tin Can is in a wearable pressure cooker so I wouldn't be that surprised.' Hazmat thought. "Tin Can... Chains.... That is a rock. Rocks can't put their hooves up... because they don't have hooves... or muscles... or tissue... or cells in general. They are not living creatures so you can shoot it all you want and it won't die. because it was never living in the first place. understand?" He said slowly.

"No look see the shadow this rock has one big lump going strait progressively up and then strait down and the shadow when it goes down it has a lump that looks like the back side of a pony and a mare at that" Chain tried to explain "wait did you call me Chains? no one has ever called me that and it won't start now" he said a little aggressive
