Scootacool Signature

Well I spent a good 25 minutes on this so thought I would share. Scootacool requested a signature from me via Status Update. This is my first "real" shot at animation. I like criticism, so do criticism! Also, don't tell me that the falling is unrealistic, I know. Other than that I don't see too much wrong. Also the reason she was bigger as she came up the second time was because she was supposed to have gotten closer to the "camera" after she fell. Well hope it's not too bad. Thanks

The text!

 

Right now it tells me boring things, Scootaloo is meant to be awesome, fast and cool! Not boring, the text should reflect that, try another font like this: http://www.dafont.com/fr/coolvetica.font?fpp=50

 

Or if you want a more 'fluid' font: http://www.dafont.com/fr/coolock-black.font?fpp=50

 

Be sure to also put a lot of spacing between them, and if possible subtle italics. ( To simulate a speedy text )

 

Well, else I would say good work in extracting the frames.

Yeah, animation can be painful. I didn't think that you were serious when you said you would animate the sig.

I actually like it just fine with no further modifications necessary.

The only thing is this though. I'll probably drop just a few animation frames to decrease the file size. If I use a 1 MB signature file, then Feld0 will probably hunt me down and take away my Internet license...

 

No need for dropping animation frames! Was able to switch the animation to using the "combine" method and trim the filesize to a mere 111 kb.
