I see people talking about the supposed benefits of balanced headphone cables, I understand the crosstalk thing about single ended, but what they're talking about is often in the range of unsafe listening levels in ranges of over 85 decibels, if crosstalk occurs below that range it is usually a problem with how a DAC or soundcard handles the channel separation, not the unbalanced cable or connector type. And on the point of unsafe listening levels, to encourage those types of listening habits borderlines on malpractice and is reminiscent of the loudness wars problem companies caused.
