Is anyone here playing Life is Strange?

 

For those of you who don't know what it is, here is the non-spoiler trailer.

 

It is an episodic game about a girl named Max who finds out she has powers. It's very slice of life, magic realism, and very freaking awesome. The graphical nature (how it looks - not literally graphic as in gross stuff) takes a bit of getting used to, with clunky lip flaps, but once you get past this within the first episode there is no going back. The characters are so detailed, the story so real. This game is available on all platforms.

 

Those who DO play it, let's talk! I am OBSESSED and eagerly waiting episode 4.

Oh I LOOOOOOOVE Life is Strange! Episode 2 was so sad ;~;. And episode three was like, Insane. You became the little rebel and everything if you played your cards right.

It is an interesting concept and often reminds me of games like the Walking Dead and Tales of the Borderlands but with its unique ability to bend time to your will.

I am aching to okay this one but I'm waiting for all the chapters to finish up.  When it comes to games that give you the feels I need the resolution sooner rather then much later.

I am curious as to what direction the game will go. I mean personally I always felt

there was something going on with Chloe because she seems to be in the middle of everything going on from the start of the series

so maybe they will explore that?

butterfly effect, and by that I think that since everything started from saving Chloe from dying, she'll have to die!!

 

I really love the slow burn of it all. Unraveling the story bit by bit. What could we possibly be looking at with episode 4?

Yes!!! Chloe is my video game GF don't even question it. I love her so much. This game would not be the same without her, that's for sure.

Yes! I really hope Max can fix the alternate universe, because I want Chloe with blue hair and not the 'normal' Chloe.

Dontnod announced they are applying the final touches to episode 4, so we are going to probably see a release next week. Also they just won 2 developer awards for Life is Strange. One for best new IP on PC and console, and another for "best narrative". Quite an achievement for a company with only 2 games under their belt.
