gaming Maplestory

So I recently found this MMORPG that has been around since I think 2005 called Maplestory. I've played it in the past, but I just recently restarted playing it. I really want to play online with others. Does anyone else play Maplestory?

I think i've spent most of my life on that game.

I quit playing a couple years ago because too much had changed.

Used to play quite avidly. Then I got aggravated by how fricking grindy it was and still is, even after all the changes. I may go back one day on private servers, but... Never again on the original.

I play maple story, but only temporarily. If you asked me what changed, well at post-BB, the maple world has changed. When Star planet was released, well there are areas with star force so apparently the orange portals and the stars on your world map determines the star force area and you need to have the number of star force to fight inside that area. The Game is still pay 2 win, but it got boring in the process because the training areas like knight's stronghold is always full and there are botters and soloists in those areas so it's hard to get a pty right now.

 

I've been playing since beta which is tespia of course, but after my comeback, well I started fresh in broa to be with some friends so right now, I'm level 210 Evan which is my main character. Ice/Lightning Mage used to be my main, but Evan caught my interest.

l too play Maplestory, but l stopped playing it untill recently. l am on Maplestory Europe and l must say that l am quite angry that those classes came that were too overpowered, it ruined the gameplay.

Oh about the worlds, All the worlds except scania, bera, and windia are in the world alliance so you'll find most of us within the world alliance so if you're in kradia, you'll find people that are from nova, bellocan, mardia, yellonde, and chaos worlds.

I used to play this a long time ago, then BB happened and I haven't gone back cause it got confusing where everything was. I still update the client. All my characters are Windia. One of my accounts got hacked and though I got it back being naked is kinda unfun. If I do go back I'll probably make new characters on my third account.

 

I don't know what will become of nexon's security measures for maple story right now because there are lot of advertisers going around in the game right now and those sites can be phishing. The GMs and staff should've thought of putting the chat filters up so most people won't be able to fall for phishing sites and their traps.

It's alright. I've seen some negatives and cons of this game right now. The cons That i've seen so far is that the game is too boring as other people said, it's all about grinding, lack of security measures, GMs care about fun, games & events more than fixing issues and catching hackers & botters, too many soloists and botters going on making ppl struggle to get a pty, no endgame contents, and hard bosses like hard magnus and gollux (well not easy, normal, and hard gollux) are too hard to kill.

 

The population of this game is declining and i can tell how many complaints, and the number of bugs and issues just by looking at the community.

I wish I can play with you guys, but I'm in broa right now since I have friends playing in that world for now. Most of my friends in scania left me for their own reasons so that's why I moved to broa from fresh start as a evan. I used to be Ice/Lightning, but not anymore although the ultimate adventurer Ice/Lightning Mage character I made was better than my original Ice/Lightning Character.

That all depends on what world you're playing in. For me, I play in broa which allied with khiani. If you guys are looking for me, You can find me as DRGKaabii. I hang out in ardentmill all the time in the same channel with my friends. My guild is looking for actives right now so if you guys need a guild, you gotta be in broa and its allied world, khiani. The only top4 members of the guild are me, my friends, and one of our bossers and yeah i'm a jr so i'm a backup jr for the guild. We do accept bossers, but i'm not even sure if the leader wants these bossers to be active or not, but we're looking for active ppl including bossers.

 

Note: Bossers are people who do boss runs a lot..

Well it's because some of us may be playing in different worlds if they're not allied like windia, bera, and scania also Maple story has different regions besides global maple story which was labeled as GMS and not to mention the region lock as well such as europe, SEA, korean, and japanese.
