Anyone else hear about this? A guy collected 2,240 bottle caps (in real life) and sent those caps as payment to Bethesda to preorder Fallout 4. Because Bethesda's cool, they actually accepted the caps.

 

It took the guy seven years to collect all those caps, and in total they weighed at 11 pounds.

I've beaten Fallout 1, 3, and NV. I'm in the middle of playing 2 and Shelter, and have Tactics installed for when I beat FO2. I'm hoping these will tide me over until Fallout 4.

 

That only leaves... that other game. You know of which I speak. Has anyone played it? Is it really as bad as its reputation?

I've only played 3 and New Vegas, and the former is my favourite. I'm currently in the middle of 3 and my NV is a modded mess of absolute chaos like my current Skyrim game. But either way, I cannot wait for Fallout 4. 

 

Also, I cannot be the only one who finds Dogmeat, Rex, and all nightstalkers adorable. 

 

Also, I  hate deathclaws, and cazadors. I hate cazadors with a burning passion.

Has anyone seen the Fallout 4 Gamescom leak?  The hacking and lockpicking is similar to 3 and New Vegas.  The shooting looks much better than 3 and NV.  The new perk system looks really good.

I love all of the Fallout series. I'm currently playing 3 through once more, decided to try being a bad guy this time. I'm undecided whether to go PC or console for Fallout 4 though. With 3, I didn't have a decent PC so picked up a PS3 and played on there, but I built a new games machine for Elite:Dangerous, so that should play Fallout 4 relatively well I hope. Or, I could pick up a PS4...

I find it funny how I have an 'idolized' reputation with the NCR and 'Very Good' karma in my current play through, considering that I've killed about half of their Veteran Rangers for their clothes.

 

This is something that I do on all of my playthroughs. If I see something I want, I'll get it eventually.
