What about the characters would you like to see explored more?

Personally, I'd like to see:

• More on the friendship between Fluttershy and Discord. What kind of stuff do they do together, and what do they talk about?
• More on what Rarity's and Applejack's side interests are - ie what doesn't revolve around fashion or apples respectively.
• Information on Fluttershy's and Rainbow Dash's family and past. I know there's an episode coming up where we meet Fluttershy's brother, which I'm excited for!
• Any character development for Spike that doesn't revolve around his role or his crush on Rarity.

Personally I would love to see, exploring Rarity's family and history maybe where she was as a filly how she got into fashion, what inspired her, how she is so beautiful, there are so many questions so little answers =)

I'd love to see more Fluttershy and Discord as well as background characters. I'd love to see more of Doctor Whooves as well as Zecora. We do not know much about them. Plus, maybe Lemon Hearts? :3

What would I like to see explored more? Hmm, I think one of my biggest wishes is to see the Family of Fluttershy and Rainbow. What I also hope to see is the background Story of Celestia, Luna and Cadence. I would say that are my both biggest wishes on MLP.

• The main thing that has always bugged me is the Apple family. They're all about family, but don't even have pictures of their parents. It's like they never existed.

• Rainbow Dash's backstory would be interesting.

• Virtually nothing has been mentioned about Fluttershy's family either.

• Scootaloo- I don't remember seeing any other Pegasus fillies/colts living in Ponyville.

• Why Zecora ended up living near Ponyville would be interesting to see also.

Shining Armor. What made him decide to join the Royal Guard, and how he and Cadence met.

 

Spike: His relationship with Twilight's parents and Shining, his dreams. Maybe he dreams of being a world-famous chef.

 

Scootaloo: Where she lives, and her parents.

 

Zecora: Where she's from, her magic, and why she visits Ponyville once a month.

There is something BIG that I feel would be really nice to explore in episodes with AJ and RD.

Specifically, I think it'd be good to look at their leadership sides in some episodes. Some of my favorite Rainbow dash episodes focus on or talk about her being a good leader of pegasi, and its a good aspect of her that really helps to round her out more with another aspect beyond just pushing herself. Hurricane fluttershy showing us her leading the other pegasi really was nice, and, while they didn't show much ACTUAL leadership from dash in Wonderbolts academy Spitfire gave the big "you're a leader!" declaration.
Showing some scenarios where Dash focuses on building up or trying to improve her team leadership abilities would be nice.

Now, for applejack, you get the distinct feel alot that she's something of the second in command for the mane six after twilight, in that she often seems to act like a team mom at times (like in Dragonshy, when she helped fluttershy around the mountain when she was too scared). Additionally, one of my Favorite comics lately from the FF series is the mayor mare/AJ one where they focus on Applejack's leadership abilities, and that, as she cares about helping others, she really could be putting her potential to more use than she is.

I think having an episode kind of like that FF comic, where AJ is forced to try and act as a leader for some other farmers or whatnot would be a really nice way to explore her.
