A few weeks ago, my sister acquainted me with a new TV show (just as she did last July with MLP: FiM). This show is not a cartoon, but carries forth many of the conventions that also make MLP: FiM so great. It's called "Downton Abbey", and is set in early 20th century Britain. It revolves around life in a British manor home.

 

The characters are well-written and all have excellent chemistry with one another - I do sorely recommend a watch from anyone who likes MLP. If you can watch a little kid's cartoon, you can certainly put in the time to watch an excellent period drama like Downton Abbey.

Yeah That show is pretty good! It is not new though, It's actually two years old. I remember me and my mom watching it like a year ago

I've heard of it before, and have been meaning to start...never got around to it because I was too lazy to search Netflix.

No. You can catch it on Netflix or Amazon Instant Video (first season is free to watch if you have a Prime membership).

Lots of people seem to enjoy that show, and it's big in the UK of course. I know little of it but if you enjoy dramas or want a classier sort of soap opera, do have a look at it, I hear many good things of it.
