"Oh, well you should try reading a book," Electrobolt suggested. "They're actually pretty good." Looking around, he noticed Midnight was missing. "Huh, where'd Midnight go..." he whispered to himself. Getting back up on his hooves, Electrobolt said, "I'll be right back." With that, he walked downstairs and left the library, standing just outside of the doors as he tried to see if he could find Midnight in the crowd outside.

midnight stayed in the air looking around, but failing to see anypony he knew, until finally spotting a framilier green earth pony with blue mane, he flew closer then sighed with relief when he realized it was electrobolt.

"oh thank nightmare i found you." he chuckled, "ibve flown all over this city looking for you all."

Smiling, Electrobolt replied, "Well, we're all in the library, up on the second floor. Wanna come?" He then began to walk in the building, looking behind him to see if Midnight was following him or not.

midnight nodded "yeah, im coming." he landed and folded his wings, following electrobolt inside to where the others were

When Electrobolt came back, he had another pony with him, it was Midnight "Oh, there you are! Where were you?" asked Starry

Once the two of them got together with the rest of the group, Electrobolt sat down where he was once again. "Feel free to grab a book if you want to, Midnight," he spoke up before picking up the copy of Daring Do that he had sat down. As he read it, he couldn't help but get caught in the story once again. At times, he paused to close his eyes as he imagined himself in Daring Do's hooves before opening them again and returning to the story.

"lost....couldnt find any of you till i spotted electro over there." he frowned and looked the books over, trying to find one that caught his intrest, so he sat down across from electrobolt laying his head on the table and sitting there quietly.

Shadow was still reading his book when another book smashed his head.''OW!Mother..Bucking...Book?'' Said Shadow as looking at the Cover.'' ''Equestrian Warzone 2019.'' Oh boy...What a goodie!'' Said Shadow in Excitement.He then bookmarked his Comic Book and dug his head deep into the first page. Imaging That he was Pvt. Butterscotch of the Pony Army.

shakes his head looking back and forth "seems this place has a book for everypony."

he layed his head down and closed his eyes "except me."

As Electrobolt reached the end of the page he was on, he had to leave the small world in his head as he had to turn the page to continue reading the story. As he turned the page, he overheard what Midnight had said. "What do you mean?" he asked, looking up to Midnight and putting his book down once again. "What kind of books do you like?"

midnight blushed and hid his face under his mane "ive.....never actually read a book." biting his lip he just wanted to hide in a hole.

"Y-You've never read a book? um, how about I read a book to you? It's actually fun!" Starry said, then going to the children's section and going back with a book, "Let's read The Little Red Mare, it's a classic that colts and fillies love, and I think you will like it too!" Shadow was Stuck in his mind,Still thinking of being Pvt.Butterscotch ''HUP 2 3 4 HUP 2 3 4!'' Said Sgt.Lock as all the soldier's were sweating.As he got closer to the end of the book,He would start to dodge bullets,rockets,and other things.When he was done with the book he was shot in the head and was warped back into the library.''AHH!'' Screamed Shadow as he fell out of his Chair.He then put the book back.''Books...TOO MUCH IMPACT.'' Said Shadow as returning to his comic books of delight and appeal.

Electrobolt was about to ask Midnight if he'd like to read Daring Do with him, but then Shadow's shouting had caused him to jump in his chair, which in turn caused the chair to fall backwards, sending the lime-green colt hitting the floor. "Ow..." he muttered, rubbing the back of his head. Looking back to Shadow, he asked, "And what was - ow... - that all about...?"

midnight blinked at the commotion....."uhhh...what electro said." he came around the table and helped electro up then blinked again, looking over at starry "well its not that i cant read, ive just never found any kinds of books i liked."

Hearing Midnight's response, Starry said "Hmm, maybe a book on world records might interest you, err... I don't know what really interests you, um..I hope you find something to read,"

Song over heard Midnigh "Well what kind of things do you like Midnight" asked Song putting down his book

Thanking Midnight for helping him get back on his hooves, he pulled the chair back up as he sat back down once again. "Anyways, Midnight," he began. "Before I got interrupted, I was going to ask if you'd like to try out one of the Daring Do books. They're pretty good!"

Midnight sighed, and looked around before remembering electrobolts offer and came around the table, looking over his shoulder, reading whatever he was.

Draft listened to the clacking of his hooves against the stone floor, his lantern lighting the narrow passage in an eerie orange glow. He didn't know how long he'd been walking, only that the voice was getting louder. It seemed to belong to a filly or a young mare in distress. The corridor opened into a larger room, the walls covered in cobwebs and empty shelves with worm-eaten books lying upon them.

He swallowed and moved on. This was quite an adventure.

 

"Help...Please..."

 

The voice echoed around the hall and Rough Draft sprang forward, rushing down the forgotten halls to find a door behind which the voice originated. He tried the handle to find it locked, so he pounded upon it.

"Hey!" he shouted, "Hey, are you okay!?"

"Hello!? Oh thank Celestia!"

Draft heard the pony stumble over to the door and fall upon it. "Please, you have to get me out of here!"

"Are you okay?" asked Draft, his heart pounding in his chest, "what happened?"

"A...changeling!" answered the mare after a moment, "a changeling captured me and threw me down here while it took my place! I've been down here for days!"

Draft shuddered. He'd heard about the changelings before. In fact, he'd even written a few stories about them, but he'd never had a real encounter with one.

"Hang on," he shouted, stepping back, "I'm gonna try to knock down the door!"

He ran at full speed and slammed into the door, only to be bounced back with an instant headache. "Okay, that won't work," he said groggily, "I have some friends up above who can help! I'll be right back!"

"NO!" shouted the imprisoned pony, "please, don't leave me!"

"I promise I'll be right back!" Draft shouted as he galloped away. He charged up the halls and steps until he found the door leading back to the library, now locked. He pounded against it.

"Hello!?" he shouted, "Midnight! Zarely!? Electro, anypony! Can you hear me!?"
