Sunbeam Blossom & Kite(need help for designs)

I have a problem with creating my oc's, and that is I don't have a pc, have to wait for my new pc tower to arrive. If you're not too busy, i'd love it if you could help with two OC's designs. They are a Unicorn mare named Sunbeam Blossom, and her best friend, a baby dragon named Kite. I'd like to start from there, if you don't mind. I have no reference for them, but I wish for help in picking their color schemes. If anyone can help with this, i'll be grateful.

Hopefully you're still interested in help, as to color schemes it generally helps to know their personality as often color is meant to go along with it as well as tying in to the name.

 

Off the top of my head, Sunbeam could be a light cream coat with a light pink or other flower colored mane and tail, likely two tone to better reflect flowers (This sounds quite a bit like roseluck I know)

 

As to kite, dragon colors could possibly be influenced or influence their favorite kind of gems.
