So as the title suggests, I want to see everypony's OC and here their OC's backstory. It doesn't matter if it's a description of how they look; It also doesn't matter if you don't have a back story.

I guess I'll be the first one to post one of my OC's.

Backstory: WARNING: It's pretty much a light novel.

 

She was born in Cloudsdale, in an ordinary home with your average pegasi parents. Even when she was born, she was able to fly, even if only for a short period of time. She was raised as a normal pegasus, always going to school, having friends. But on her 15th birthday, she woke up feeling strange. She didn't really know if it was a good or bad feeling, so she talked to her parents about it. Her parents were concerned, and they consulted a doctor, who said she was perfectly healthy. Spirit then decided to try and just ignore it, and go to school. But right as she was about to take off to fly to school, she realized her wings had changed. She looked closer at her wings and saw that they were somewhat transparent. She tried to touch them with a hoof, and her hoof went straight through, and she didn't feel anything. Though she could still feel her wings there, and flap them like normal. So she just ignored it and decided to fly to school, again. Though as soon as she flapped her wings to take off, she wound up with her face in the wall. Her parents hurried upstairs, concerned about a loud noise, and saw that Spirit had apparently flown straight into the wall. They called the doctor, and during his inspection, he noticed the 'ghost' wings. He wasn't exactly calm about it, and flew straight out the house. Spirit attempted to reason with her parents to not do anything extreme, but they had already sent a message to Princess Celestia. When Celestia received the letter, she consulted a few books in the royal library. She replied to the message saying "It turns out that Spirit Watcher is actually a Spirit Pegasus, which is an extremely rare race of Pegasi that haven't been seen for thousands of years. The wings are somewhat of a special power, which grants extreme speed and maneuverability. Spirit Pegasi are believed to have a delicate mission of guiding pony spirits to the afterlife. Just inform Spirit Watcher of this and tell her that she just has to get used to her new wings." After reading this, Spirit's parents had shown it to her. After reading it, Spirit just went on with her day as normal, trying not to use her wings, and was quite successful. That night, she went to one of the school's obstacle courses. She decided that if she were to use these wings, she would have to learn to control the power first. On her first attempt, she tried to flap her wings with minimal strength, and successfully got off the ground like normal, but when she instinctively flapped a second time to stay up, she flew straight up for 1200 feet. Over the next 7 or 8 hours she practiced enough to somewhat control the new power. Over the next few nights, she kept practicing, eventually mastering it. But on the last night, when she was about to go, she felt like seeing how fast she could go through the course, now that she had mastered her power. As she was doing the course, a Wonderbolt was passing by the course. The Wonderbolt, named Spitfire, saw Spirit going through the course and decided to ask who she was. Spirit, not expecting anypony to be around, was quite startled when she heard Spitfire talk, and she almost ran into a wall. Spirit didn't want anyone to know about her new power, so she told Spitfire she had just trained every night for the past few years. Spitfire, interested in Spirit's abilties (but not knowing her real abilities), asked if she would like to go to Wonderbolt Academy. Spirit thought about it for a few minutes, and accepted the invitation. While at Wonderbolt Academy, Spirit didn't have any friends, and although she was beating all the records, wasn't very popular with the other cadets. And when graduation finally came around, Spirit decided to request for a race between her and all the Wonderbolts. Spitfire, curious about Spirit's true speed, agreed and set it up. Though Spirit wasn't trying for a major event, it turned out to be a huge event, where almost 50,000 ponies were there, spectating. Spirit didn't really want to let people know of her abilities, but decided that now was as good a time as any. Just before the race started, Spirit went up to Celestia and asked a few questions. Spirit learned from Celestia that she had more abilities than she realized, but decided to try and use them at a different time. The Wonderbolts lined up at the starting line, with Spirit at the outside edge. The track was around 4 miles around, and the record time for a lap was just under 6 seconds. When the race started, the Wonderbolts launched forward, but Spirit just stayed there. Spirit was actually caught in thought, and when the Wonderbolts completed the first lap, she was knocked back into reality. Spirit contemplated for a moment, and then took off. The speed in which she took off made the whole crowd gasp, including the Princesses. She completed all 50 laps in under 30 seconds, which is obviously a record. A few years later, at the age of 18, she was approached by a mysterious pegasus one night, when nopony was around. He told her how to use all of her abilities, and then left. Over the next few days she learned to use these abilities, among these is the ability to change dimensions. This ability allows her to go from the 'Reality' Dimension, to the Spirit Dimension. While she is in the Spirit Dimension, she is able to see the spirits of dead ponies, even able to talk to them. Also, while she is in the Spirit Dimension, anyone in the 'Reality' Dimension cannot see her, but she can see them. And while in Spirit Dimension, she has a MUCH higher top speed. Over the next few years, she does her job of guiding pony souls to the afterlife. At the age of 20, she gets an invitation to an extremely prestigious race for the fastest flyers in the world. This race is a full course, with multiple laps, it starts in Canterlot, and ends in Canterlot. The race is around the world, approximately 502,953 miles per lap, with a total of 24 laps. As Spirit looks at her competition, she notices that there are 2 other Spirit Pegasi in this race. She walks up to them, and asks them if there are any more of them, but they don't know. On race day, Spirit looks at the competition a bit more. The racers comprise of Dragons, Pegasi, Spirit Pegasi, Wind Pegasi, Phoenix's, Gryphon's, and a couple Alicorn's. Right as the race is about to start, Spirit decides to test her opponent's speeds, and waits when the race starts. She catches up to the Dragon in front of her, and determines his speed to be around 285 miles per second. She speeds up drastically and flies next to the Spirit Pegasi in first place. She clocks his speed at around 823 miles per second. She paces the Spirit Pegasus next to her, but decides he's going a bit too slow for her taste, and she flies off at her top speed, which is somewhere between 2200 miles per second, and 2500 miles per second. After she completes her 24 laps, she is greeted by quite a large crowd. Though she quickly disappears from there, not wanting all that attention. She then sits on the podium, and waits 12 hours until the last racer crosses the finish line. Once he does, Spirit is bombarded with applause. She gets her picture taken a couple times, grabs her trophy, and flies home. Two years later, she is approached by a mysterious unicorn by the name of Shining Midnight. He asks to study her abilities, and she agree's.

 

 

The story would be longer and in more detail, but I'm typing this at 6am and I can't type at my max speed at 6am.

We actually already have a thread where you can go talk about your pony OC, which I have linked below. For next time, please use our search engine to look for specific threads. If you find a thread that happens to have a Mega Thread prefix, you don't need to make another thread similar to it. With that said, this thread has been locked.
