Space... Is big... So big that the likelihood of there being other life is almost certain. In the year 2029 the land of Equestria set out to find one of these other life forms. They stored the memories of loyal workers in data chips to be programmed into the finest robots available robots from a company named Equestrian Robotics. Originally they were a simple company building the simplest kind of robots. Vacuum cleaners that required nopony pushing them. Then when ESA walked up to them and commissioned several new builds of robot

On the 100th year of exploration ESA 4529 came back to Equestria it picked up the new robots and even some other robots. Robots that were more rust than metal, specially made synthetic ponies, you name it.

Notice: robot options will be posted tomorrow as I need sleep.

Yes each has it's advantages and disadvantages. Nuclear powered robots are more efficient but release deadly radiation.

Actually, one thing that would probably attract more people is allowing them to bring in their own robotic OCs, rather than being pigeonholed into a specific unit with a specific duty and specific range of emotions. Let the players decide how their machine is run.

Yeah, that way you'll get some more fleshed out and unique characters. There can be somepony who comes in with a 1960's looking rust bucket, somepony who plays an H.R. Geiger looking monstrosity, and somepony who operates a lifelike Equinoid. Variety is the spice of RP.
