movies/tv Was Discord's reign of Equestria like Weirdmaggeddon?

As a Gravity Falls fan I've seen the most recent episode which revealed the extent of Bill Cipher's true power. We saw rivers of blood, a man's face get completely screwed up and people get turned to stone, plus a new league of terrifying monsters. Now Gravity Falls is TV-Y7 pushing PG whilst MLP is TV-Y so we can't expect MLP to ever be as graphic. But at the beginning of Return of Harmony whilst Celestia is explaining Discord and his rule over Equestria to Twilight, we are shown stain glass window of Discord playing with Ponies over what looks like a pit of hell, the ponies look to be in agony and we can also hear screams of agony in the background. What did Discord get up to when he ruled Equestria? Was he as evil/crazy/terrifying as Bill?

All that Doom and Gloom and Death and Terror are simply tales twisted through the thousands of years

Maybe but Discord was nowhere near as malicious as Bill Cipher.

Plus Gravity Falls has TVY7 while MLP FIM is TVY so, I don't think Discord's reign could have been to the same level that Weirdmaggedon is.

Yes and I did mention this in my original post. This means that MLP won't show some things that Gravity Falls is allowed to show. However, Discord's reign wasn't actually shown, it was just implied that it was horrible. Edited November 4, 2015 by DashBandicoot
