Ticktock chuckled at Atayla and shook his head "Honestly you make me seem like such a bad guy when i'm as harmless as a kitteen." Ticktock then gulpped at the thought of Holo with alchole in her system but just shoved the thought out of his mind "Ok then we can go to the tavern... But Atayla you can get us there." As Ticktock ended his sentence a devilish smirk grew on his face.

"Ooh, I'd love a good bottle of wine right now," Atayla purred, smirking mischievously, "Or perhaps a good mug of mead."

 

She turned her smirk to Ticktock and nudged him gently. "You know I do it out of love."

 

She was taken off guard by his sudden suggestion to make her drive the cart to the tavern, making her sit up properly for the first time in a while with a 'Nyaaa?!' of surprise.

"Why'm I driving?" She meowed as the reigns were shoved into her paws, "You're always the driver! And this is your cart!"

"Well" Chuckled Ticktock "If your going to humiliate me in front of Holo then i'll do the same thing to you... An eye for an eye as it were." Ticktock then let out a slightly evil laugh "Of course you can always not drive the cart... however with no-one to drive it i'm not sure how you will get that glass of wine or pint of mead you wanted."

Holo was smaileing as she heard Atayla replay on Ticktock offer to ride a cart.And when she heard Ticktock taunt how he will humiliate Atayla same way she did and then fall, Holo started to laugh.Holo was laughing as she falled behaind on the bag of wheat our heroes had in a cart.And true laugh Holo started "You now realy told her."

Atayla's ears flattened against her head and her cheeks blushed, letting out a growl before sitting with a pout. "Fine. I'll drive your stupid cart."

 

A realisation suddenly flashed and she faced the two with a cocky smirk.

"Well, since you've volunteered to be the navigators," she purred, "Then maybe you could fix me with some directions to this tavern?"

"Ha ha ha" Ticktock chuckled "I cant do that for you, one because i have no idea where to go, i just look at the town map, and two we have a perfectly good navigator right here." He said turning to Holo, mentally thinking "That what you get for laughing and charming me."

Holo was still smaileing as Ticktock said thet she should help at navigatoring,she maybie think for a moment and then quickly moved close to Ticktock looking at him with a sad eyes and then quickyl lowereing her head in front of him.Ticktock could not see her face because she had her hood on her head.Holo started with week voice "B-but I-I know not t-this place...." Her voice was week almost like she was ready to start crying right thet moment "....I-I can not h-help at navigating....I dont have a d-day of school,I can not read map." She quickly passed with her hand over her face,thet Ticktock still could not see,it looked like she was wiping her tears off.

Atayla raised an eyebrow at Holo's confession. "Really? You've never been to school?" She was getting curious now; just who was this girl?

 

However, ever the opportunist, she lifted the map from a compartment in the cart and slapped it onto Ticktock's chest.

"You heard the girl," She purred mischievously, "She can't read a map, so you're up. I can't exactly read while I'm driving, can I?"

Holo realy did not know to read,but at this moment she was trying to act - to get her self out of doing one boring job.And as Atayla slapped map on Ticktock chest,she relaised she may get in trouble if they find out thet this was all just an big act.And so just couple moments after Atayla order to Ticktock,she turned around so they would not see her face and maybie figure out what is happening.She tryed not to look back at Atayla or Ticktock,but simply as she was walking with still weak voice,thet this time had litle insecurity in it started "School is not for the pore,yes?"

Ticktock paused for a minute "Um you do know this map only shows where towns are, and not the insides of town." Ticktock then gave out a loud huff when the map was thrust onto his chest "You know what... i fill not navigate i am tired of doing all the work around here i am not navigating no way no how."

Atayla blinked at Holo, unsure about her question.

"I guess it isn't," she muttered, "I mean, I didn't go to school but I was taught everything by my Guild."

 

She couldn't help but smirk with amusement at Ticktock's refusal to navigate.

"Well, then you shouldn't have made me drive," She purred, sticking her tongue out at her partner.

Holo was still standimg in the cart,but was facing away from our heroes.Holo was little happye because our heroes did not give attention to her about not knowing to read,but on the other side she was a little sad because our heroes give her 0 attention.Holo liked attentiom,no mater if it was good one or bad,for her attention was attention."Will we reach tavern soon,my is hungry." Holo said as she scrached her left ear under her hood.She probably had flies.

Ticktock's eyes turned to slits at Atayla's comment "Well maybe if you didnt make fun of me all the time i wouldnt make you drive the cart!" Ticktock then jumpped into the back of the cart before curling up trying to get to sleep completly ignoring Holo.

Atayla looked back at Holo, and shrugged. "No idea, though I know a tavern when I see one."

 

She blinked with surprise at Ticktock's sudden outburst, and watched as he climbed into the back of the cart. Was he really taking her teasing seriously?

 

She sighed and sat back against the seat. "I only do that because you're kind of my only friend, y'know..." She muttered, just loud enough for him to hear.

Holo did not enjoy to be ignored.She,the wise wolf of Yoits been ignored by an man. And so she thinked to get back to Ticktock , tooth for a tooth. But she did not know Ticktock for wery long, and onli thing she knowed about him so far is thet he did not enjoyed too much when she talked to him as an sweet heart. And so she quickly turned around to Ticktock , waching thet her hood dont fall off her head , and kneeled next to him. She quickly made an sad face and her sad eyes opened widely, she started "You dont like my,yes?You would even let my die from starvation,out on cold..." 

 

At this moment frst drops of rain started to fall down from the black sky,all the way down to the hard ground.Rain was almost not even falling, but by looks of rain is going to fall harder and harder.

Ticktock heard Atayla speak but insted just curled you tighter and then when Holo spoke in that voice, Ticktock just continued to ignore her just wishing to go to sleep, even when the rin began Ticktock remained curled up and even though Atayla and Holo couldnt see it there were tears forming in Ticktock's eyes.

"Ahh, don't mind him," Atayla muttered to Holo, "He's having a moment, he'll be fine when we find a tavern."

 

After not too long, she made a shaky stop after seeing Ticktock do it so many times but never had a chance to try herself.

She had pulled up in front of a decent-looking pub, glancing at it as she pulled her hood a bit more over her head.

 

"How about this place?" She asked.

Holo looked at a place Atayla asked to see,and it looked like tavern.It was a tall,two story building with windows thet were facing the street so maybie some rooms did not had the window.There was one big chimney thet was relising big dark smoke high in the air.This two story building had something thet looked like a barn in back,maybie for traveler hourses,and to enter this building there was one big wooden dore. 

Holo was happye thet they finaly reached this tavern thet she forgot what she was doing.She was so happye thet she will finaly could get off this rain and get something to eat and probably to drink. "Yes!This is perfect!" Holo almost yelled to her self and then quickly looked at Atayla.Our heroes could hear swishing sound,it comed from under holo worn out rob,it was her tail moving left and right - probably from happynes. "When will we go in?" Holo said,still looking at Atayla.

Atayla smirked as she heard the swishing sound of Holo's tail, happy that she approved.

 

"In a second," she muttered, looking down at Ticktock, "We need to get Mr Happy here up and about."

 

She lifted a small empty sack from the back of the cart and chucked it, watching it plop over Ticktock's face.

"Hey, poutypuss," She purred, "We found a place, let's go."

Ticktock had been fast asleep until he felt the sack land on his face, he quickly grabbed it and threw it off his face onlt to start laughing "Hahaha oh i dont believe you fell for the hole act i put on, although i must admit nice driving maybe you should drive more often might give me a chance to have a rest now and then."

"Come!" Holo yelled as she rised from her kneeled position next to Ticktock.Holo was a person who did not whant to wait a lot,if reward,thet is here food and wine,was in sight and thet is this close rearly who could stop her.Holo raised her right leg and set ut gently on Ticktock,and then pushed him,but she could not do much as she was quait skinny."Come on!" Holo repeted impationly now lookimg down at Ticktock.Holo tail was still gently moving left and right.

Atayla blinked at Ticktock, then rolled her eyes with a smirk.

"Alright smart guy, you got me," she admitted, then put on a mischievous face, "Don't expect anymore freebies."

 

She hopped off the cart and purred with amusement at Holo's gently kicking at the catboy. "Well, you heard the lady, let's head in."

Ticktock shifted a bit at Holo's nudge before getting up and dusting himself of a bit and put his hat back on his head, before smirking at Atayla "Well... that's what you think, I have my ways." Ticktock then jumped off the cart before doing a joking bow at his two companions "I do believe the saying goes, ladies first."

You did not need to tell thet to Holo,and so she quickly jumped off the cart and opened big wooden dore thet were like a chest,thet hold the price in it.

As light gone in saide of the tavern,our heroes could see this was not high ranked tavern,but it was more made for one night stops.Frst flore (thetour heroes could see) had couple of old wooden tables,one chair at each table,one big fire place thet had fire burning,and one big table and bahimd it one young looking elf man.He was probably tavern keeper.In one hand he had glass of something thet looked like water,and his eyes did look at Holo thet just entered the tavern."Come!You slowe things,food is waiting for us." Holo said to Ticktock and Atayla.

Atayla casually entered the tavern after Holo, getting a look at the place. Not the nicest inn she'd seen, but at the same time it didn't look like a total run-down cesspool.

 

She sauntered over to a table and pulled two more chairs toward it before taking a seat.

"I'll have a beer," she said to Ticktock, smirking.
