gaming Metal Slug Thread!

Now this is a series that I have been thinking of a lot of lately. I have only played the 3rd game in this series, but man, was that an experience. Metal Slug is a such a fun and addicting Run n' Gun game and I think it is one of the best in that genre. So much so that I will soon be buying Metal Slug 3 on Xbox One soon to play it more, it has been far too long. 

 

 

Anyone else like these games? What all have you played? Which is your favorite?

I have Metal Slug Anthology for WII, but that thing saw it last days and I have no way to repair it right now. The only MS I can play reliably is Metal Slug 7 for the DS. Those games are pure crazy fun, and they got may of the best tracks and bosses in the history

I used to have the Anthology for the Wii until I traded it for the 3DS, though I've been itching for some Metal Slug, I absolutely love the series. I'll probably pick it up again sometime in the future. I'd say my favorite was Metal Slug 2/X(also Fio <3)

I have seen that Metal Slug 7 is crazy expensive now. I was hoping to get it for my 3DS but, nope, not gonna happen. XD I am going to buy Metal Slug 3 for Xbox 360 tomorrow. :3 I may even get XX. 3 is the only one I have ever played.

This has to be my favorite version of the classic Final Attack music. Man, that level was crazy long (probably second longest level, with only the final level of MS3 being longer). Pretty satisfying finishing the whole game in hard mode, with only 14 continues, but it hones skills trying

Isn't Metal Slug XX also MS7? If you have a PSP, it'll probably be a lot easier to get a hold of since it's on PSN

Huh, I have no idea actually. IF it is then that is awesome, I will have to pick it up. :3 Also I just figured out that apparently Metal Slug 3 has Co Op on Xbox 360? That is awesome!
