Glade felt the presences leave his vicinity,but he still shivered,anticipation was going to be the death of him. He saw the colts flood the room,he had already taken a bed,so he stayed in it,slowly curling up and closing his eyes again,trying to get some sleep,nightmares plaguing his dreams again.  He almost couldn't sleep,but forced himself to every time he would wake up.

She looked at Scare "well its this way" she passes by all the beds for the others into a small room that has a few other small rooms next to it. In the small was also a bunk bed but there was more room to work with for the smaller fillies...and then they my just grow up in it like Banner. "If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask...I have a question for you though, how was your mother?" It was something she wanted to know as most fillies weren't keen on talking about the relatives that went away from there lives. Scare seemed different though.

Scare followed Banner into the room when she heard Banner ask about her mother. "Her name was Stone Angel she was a famous Stone carver, She was the best mother a filly could ask for she was loving and she loved all three of her children equally." Scare said with a happy smile which quickly descended into a sad look. "And then she vanished on the night of my eighth Birthday." Scare then put on a fake smile.

Posey stood outside and watched the forest she felt something was off the energy coming off the forest increased dramatically. "She is coming and when she does my children will not be safe i must stop her before she comes any where here."

cresent nodded leading the others up stairs towards the doorms, he was still tired and...well too scared to make friends so far. Opening the door he said "well...finders..keepers" he said letting the colts find there beds. He had been in this room once during his tour when he came here and was then told don't sleep thier till the others show up. This is probably what Sister meant. As the others found there cots he spotted one by a window and falped his still stubby wings by the bed, cureld up in a ball and let sleep crawl back over him.

Now that the last colt had made his way to a marvelous bed, he decided to sleep by the nearest light source, in order to get heat from it. He lays on the ground near a candle, and settles into position, yawning deeply once finally comfortable. It was annoying, being a pony. His carapace would've made resting much easier, and wouldn't last long. Same with his shadow form, assuming it lasted long enough to fall asleep. Once he gets his species back, he'll be sure to immediately sleep better.

Posey looked in the boys' room to see them all asleep then made her way to check on the girls finding they were still awake but they seemed to be talking so she left them be and made her way to the front door she opened it and walked outside closing the door gently behind her. she then made her way to the forest and entered it. I must find her.

Banner was a little lost in thought, thinking about what her family might have been like...again. She snapped out of it when Scare started speaking again "years, I can't remember when but I started to turn into almost a co-caretaker here...since no one wants to adopt a teen I think it will stay that way till I become an adult"

Sleep, that was a hard thing. When you were a species that knew little, but thought, and brief periods of meditation, you aren't prepared to sleep, nor do you have any idea how to begin. At first, he tried to meditate, as normal. That didn't work they way he planned, as he just couldn't find a way to do so. His brain didn't appear to have that "On/Off" switch, that switched itself back on after a while. So, he decided to imitate the other colts, and see if that would work. So far, it didn't but it appeared to fool the one who came in to check on him and the others. It must've been those fillies that were keeping this body awake. He could hear their voices, their sounds, and it annoyed him to no end. He always disliked those sounds, and would hate it when he went undercover to something called a "Slumber Party". That, however, was a story for another time. Now, he needed to discover how this wretched body goes to rest!

"That is kinda sad, you know since you've here so long. But i find it unbelievable that no pony wants to adopt you. I mean you are one of the nicest ponies i ever met, so it kinda surprises me that's all." Scare said looking at Banner.

"That is enough you two time for sleep Scare and you too Banner." A light mechanical voice said suddenly.

Banner said looking strait at Everest "I know I might be a little bit of a shut in and made up my own characters with backstories but I know for a fact there there is a line in reality that says that a talking stone figure, should not be talking unless some sort of weird magic spell that I have no idea about" Banner says clearly in some sort of mental dilemma about not understanding magic

Scare laughed at Banner's reaction to Everest talking. "Sorry Banner I should have warned you that Everest talks he somehow gained life a week after my family disappeared I still have no Idea how it happened." Scare tried to explain to Banner.

"Please do calm down I mean you no harm and I do suggest we lower our voices less somepony hears us." Everest said then stood up and walked over to the door and closed it to keep others from seeing him walking and talking.

Posey looked at the children who were in the living room chatting among themselves."Sorry for leaving you all now it is getting late you all need your rest so i will assign you all rooms and we can continue with introductions tomorrow. Now the room assignments the colts get the bedding area and Scare will be sharing a room with Banner since she is the only Filly. to arrive today. Crescent please show the new colts to the bedding area." Posey said before turning to look at Banner. "And Banner i need you to show Scare to your bed room so she could get some sleep."

 

I Looked behind and said "Guess it's time to take some shuteyes" As Me and the other colts walked to the room, I walked to the bed nearest to the door, i sat down and took off my hoodie jacket and put on my headphones. I played a classical music and lay down on the bed. This new place need some time to adapt so we can sleep said my thought, "Yep..." I Answered in a whisper "Night Everypony" i said to the other ponies before going to sleep

Glade had been tossing and turning throughout the night,he was having nightmares,yet,these were not normal,they were somehow,well,darker than his normal ones,it was him sitting there,alone,in the middle of a dark night,a small candle was the only thing emitting light as he sat and stared at the tiny flame,he felt drops of water falling on his snout,shoulders,then his whole body as it poured down rain,he still sat there,staring at the flickering and dying flame,he started to cry as he saw the lost souls in the flame,his including,he saw the flame flicker more and slowly go out,he then only heard whimpering and crying and rain.He soon woke after his nightmare and looked at the ceiling.

Posey returned from her quick stroll through nightmare forest.concluding that metus wasn't currently in the forest meaning Posey will be getting a letter from Canterlot soon.

He shifts, having been incapable of getting sleep, not being able to figure out how to force his new biology to go into Rest Mode. He's obviously suffering from sleep deprivation, when he starts to get up with the rest of the little colts. He tries to fit in, but his clumsy behavior makes that difficult. All the while, he finds it difficult to concentrate, and finds his strength failing him.

"Good morning" Banner drowsily said to Scare as she woke up "Well" she said jumping and making the landing onto the floor from the top bunk "lets go have breakfast" she happily walks out of the room.

"It's not my fault somepony changed my biology to be an actual pony!" He rants, exhausted and exasperated. "I have no idea on how to get this body to sleep! UUUURRRRRRRGGGGHHHH!"

Enraged, he dashes off, towards the forest to calm down.

Scare said groggily as she was awoken by Banner she was about to say good morning back but Banner already ran out the door. rubbing her eyes she went to get breakfast but she when she got there Banner was screamed at by the unicorn colt ms,Posey came back with.last night. "Hey are you okay Banner?"

Posey witnessed the whole thing, she didn't know what she did to him upset him so much. She looked toward the forest then toward the other children."I am going out to look for Marion Ette you boys will stay around the house and do some chores around the house. Banner you and Scare will go to the nearby town to buy some groceries for tonight's dinner the list is on the fridge." with that Posey left walking toward the forest.

"Yeah, I'm ok...I have no idea what's wrong with that kid though, said something about him not knowing how to sleep in a pony body" Banner didn't know it it was a misunderstanding or real but she assumed it was real for some reason "Right, we should see what's needed" Banner said bringing Scare to the kitchen.

After a bit of running, his mind started clearing up, and he realized the idiocy that had transpired. He hits a tree with a hoof, only causing himself harm.

"That was a bloody stupid thing to do and say! 'Pony body'?! Are you TRYING to give away that you're a changeling, whose biology was changed?!" He strikes the tree, but softer this time, as his hoof is bleeding. He settles himself on the ground by the tree, and tries to use magic. His horn merely sends out a useless spark. "THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SPELL OF DARK MAGIC!"

Frustrated and exhausted, he forces himself to calm down. In so doing, he ends up finally getting some sleep... For the first time in his life... As a young foal. He goes into a deep sleep, unnoticing of any possible assistance... Nor dangers that stirred from his commotion.
