gaming Thoughts on the Xbox One controller?

I am playing Tomb Raider on my bros xbox one, it's the only game I want to play on the console. Now I beasted the 2013 game with my 360 pad on PC... It's the controller than irritates me. Aiming feels jagged because of the dead zones.. And overall it's just an uncomfortable controller. Wanted to see if people agree and if people are mad that Microsoft had the gaul to make a "superior" controller for $150?! Unbelievable!

I disagree entirely with most of this post, the only thing I agree with is the pointless Elite controller. The price for that thing is ridiculous. As for the standard Xbox one controller though, I love it. To me, it is the best gaming controller to date. IT is very comfortable, the triggers are amazing and the analog sticks are very fluid. Not sure  where you are getting that it is uncomfortable but to each their own. The 360 controller was good but the One controller fixed all of the issues that the 360 pad had.

I tried the Xbone pad, and didn't think it was a good as the 360 controller. It just didn't really feel right in my hands, I can't really explain why.

 

As much as I think the Elite controller would be better because more buttons (that can't be remapped to whatever you want), and interchangeable thumbsticks and D-pad, but there is no way in hell I can justify spending $150 on a controller. 

 

I still believe that the only reason that the Elite controller is even a thing is because of SCUF Gaming makes very similar controllers (not just Xbone, but 360, PS3, and PS4 as well), and Microsoft wants in, but with far more marketing.

I tried the Xbone controller a few times. To me it felt similar to the 360 controller, which I loved so that's a good sign

 

I'm probably just weird like that
