critique wanted I need help from my fellow Broadway Bronies/Pegasisters

Hey Everypony!  I come to y'all with a major dilemma.  I'm currently in the process of creating a fanfic involving the Mane 6 in the real world (and when I say that, I mean that it's still in the "idea" phase).  Part of it includes them attending Broadway musicals like The Phantom Of The Opera and Wicked.  The only problem is, while I've gotten help figuring out which songs from Phantom each member of the Mane 6 would enjoy, I've had a hard time trying to think of what songs from Wicked each of them would like.  The most I've been able to come up with is that Pinkie Pie would probably really like "Popular" for its upbeat bubblyness, Rarity might like "I'm Not That Girl" being the hopeless romantic she is, and Rainbow Dash would most likely prefer "Defying Gravity" and "No Good Deed" because of their epic feel.  As for Fluttershy, Applejack, and Twilight though, I can't come up with anything and even the songs I paired up with the others I'm not entirely sure about.  So for anypony out there who's seen Wicked, I pose the question "Which songs from Wicked do you think would best match up with the Mane 6's personalities and therefore be their favorites?"  I would really appreciate any help I could get.  Thanks to all those who've read this far.

Twilight would more than likely enjoy Dear Old Shiz for nostalgic reasons for when she was in magic school. She also might like "The Wizard and I" because it reminds her of excitement about meeting Celestia for the very first time. In fact, I'd think that Twilight would relate to Elphaba in a few ways and would probably be the one who'd get the most into the play.

 

Fluttershy may like Something Bad because it features Dr Dillamond more and speaks of Animal rights. 

 

While this may be out of character for Applejack, I actually think she might like "For Good." since she may personally relate to the idea of the song more so than the situation. I think she'd be one of the ponies that while she might not like the broadway scene as much as the other ponies but she'd respect the ideas and sentiments the shows produced.  Besides, I think Applejack would be more of a Fiddler on the Roof fan oddly enough.

Huh.  I had actually forgotten all about Something Bad, but, now that you've brought it up, yeah.  I think that one would suit Fluttershy best.  I also really agree with you that Applejack would most likely be a Fiddler On The Roof kind of girl, but I wasn't sure if that show was even still playing on Broadway.  I was more trying to stick with musicals that everyone knows about and are still running on Broadway nowadays.  Anyways, I really appreciate your bit of insight and help with my dilemma.  Thanks for taking the time to assist me.

Oh boy. Something tells me Pinkie would have way too much fun with that.

I just realized, I can't believe that I didn't think of The Lion King.  I can see Fluttershy really getting into that musical with all the animals, even if there are human actors portraying them.  Oh well.  Maybe some other time.
