"So.....Lighting Spark you said it was? You decided to confront a extremely agitated pony WITHOUT a plan?."  Flame walked up to Spark eyeing him up like he took something important from the pegasus.

 

"......I like you we should talk more, and I got this just follow me." Softening his expression Flame stepped up to emerald

Sapphire gave a turn of her head, and looked to him the rage on her face was as plain as day. "...just...help...Amber!" She turned around to him. She spoke with such anger she wasn't breathing properly. "Flamestreak, I at this moment don't care if Amber is on death's door I am sick of the priority being put on single ponies." She raises her hoof pointing to 6 blankets at the side of the room. "no pony cared for them as they died, this is a ship with 70+ ponies and I care for all of them equally not just one, and I am always mistreated for this." That statement push her off the edge well verbally. "Now if you please, FUCK OFF and let me do my work." She turned around from him and went back into drill sargent mode.

I CARE FOR THESE PONIES TOO! I believe that we should try to help them survive! But YOU completely DISREGARD the fact that Amber is addicted to MORPHINE! A DRUG! Had it been you, we would have worried! Had it been you, we would have saved you! HAD IT BEEN YOU, WE WOULD CARE IF YOU WERE AT DEATH'S DOOR! DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW?!?!"

Solar could feel Amber starting to calm down in her embrace, and her sobbing had ceased to make way for more peaceful breathing.

 

Must've tuckered herself out, she guessed, smiling.

 

With much care, she lowered her marefriend down onto the bed and pulled the covers over her, then sat by the bed and kept an eye on her like a hawk in case she had another panic attack.

 

Scarlett watched as Amber fell asleep under Solar's calming embrace, a trait that she did not receive from her mother. She got up and walked over to Solar, before slumping against the wall beside her. Turning her head to Solar she quietly said "Solar, I need to ask you something. What do you know of your mother?"

"For goodness sake......" Flame crept up behind and grabbed Sapphire's horn, preventing her from using magic.

 

"I understand your concern Sapphire and you're right, we have been focusing on individuals too much and we do need to focus on everyone equally. But this is not the way to go about it, bossing everyone into oblivion won't help anypony." Flame said releasing his grip on her horn and putting a hoof around her shoulder. 

 

"We need to do this as a team, It's the only way we'll be able to help any of these ponies out. and Amber, a vital member of this team is hurting, We need to aid her as well these other ponies. It's only fair ain't it?"

Lightning sat next to Sapphire and put his hoof around her neck. "You know, my mom always used to say, 'One person doesn't make up the whole team.' One person doesn't have to carry all the responsibility on their shoulders, especially when you have your friends to help you. Look, if I learned something at Corbulo, it's that you always help your friends, no matter the cost. Just ask for help, and we'll be there." As he said this, he gave Sapphire a big hug. "Now, I for one want to help you with anything you think is important right now. Okay?"

"No, you're definitely not. She has a lot of pressure on herself, and from what I've seen and heard from Sapphire. She also seems to bear a short temper, pressure and a short temper mix about as well as mentos and sodas. Both will likely cause an explosion."

 

Flame shook his head,  glancing toward Sapphire with a sadden look before turning back to mare that addressed him.

He stood up and headed towards the bagfuls of sand. "Tuesday, how can I separate sodium calcite from regular sand?" "Sodium calcite can be separated from sand with a spell. Stargate also has special machines that are more efficient when working with large amounts of the material." "You don't think there might be one in the crates, do you?" "I'd say it's worth a try, sir." So Lightning began to look through the crates for the material separator. As he did, he looked back to see Flame and Crystal conversing. He even saw Crystal blush a little. I think those two are interested in each other, he thought. Not a bad couple, if you ask me.

She got up and walked over to Solar, before slumping against the wall beside her. Turning her head to Solar she quietly said "Solar, I need to ask you something. What do you know of your mother?"

 

Solar's ears flicked as she heard Scarlett address her, and she looked up at the unicorn leaned against the wall.

 

"Um, not much, to be honest," She admitted, shrugging, "I figured she was a pegasus, and that she was pretty smart."

 

She lifted the small metal cube, her suit, out of her saddlebag. "I dunno why, but I always figured it was her who left me this."

Scarlett, still partly nervous from the whole ordeal, noticed the look of realisation in Solar's eyes. So, there was something she decided she would do. There was a simple way to explain the entire situation in a two words. And she knew Solar would know what she meant. "Hello Blue."

When she was a filly, she had found the suit in her attic, in its cubed form, with a note on top of it addressed to her.

 

A letter from her mother, hoofing the suit down to her, and it started with using her name for her; Blue, for the striking sky-blue in the pegasus's eyes.

 

"No... n-no, you can't be," she muttered, her head conflicting with whether to believe it or not, "Y-you look the same age as me! And... you're a unicorn...!"
