planning Far From Home

So, this is more or less the idea I'm planning to go with for this roleplay
 

Title: Far From Home

Premise: 

In an effort to foster unity among the various races of Equestria, Princess Celestia established the Canterlot Culture Fair to bring ponies, griffons, and more to share their knowledge and culture to others.  

 

Not everyone comes to the fair looking to expand their horizons, though. Some come for the opportunity, to find fame or fortune. And others to find someone. 

 

The rp is supposed to start off as slice of life but depending on what happens, it could change into adventure

So far, this feels like it's lacking something. I'm asking if there are ways to go about expanding the premise or if it's enough to remain a slice of life rp?

Sounds like a great idea to me.   Hardly anyone makes ideas that encompass all of Equestria instead of just Ponyville or Canterlot. I have an OC from Japon that might work for this.
