How G5 could work

I was thinking if G5 worked more like Avatar the Last Airbender with one main goal in mind and involving the ponies going to different places with an ongoing story would be interesting, learning new lessons along the way. And of course a whole new world with whole new characters made up of different rules than what Equestria G4 was like almost like it's a whole different period. I feel like the MLP G4 characters are exhausted, there's just not much more to go with them.

I would be okay with doing like a future story where it goes over new characters who are descendants of the main characters of G4.

I would like to see brand new characters in a brand new universe such as how each season or generation of the digimon anime works.

^This.

I don't see how many people think it will be FiM 2, or next generation of the Mane6, etc. Why not stick to G4, or make a G4.5 at most if that happens  ? A new generation involves a new art style for those colorful horses, a new direction, and setting  :maud: . New ponies and old one in name and color only, or we'll be seeing Dashie dressing in style  :dash:

Maybe G5 can have roots leading back to G4, like they take place in the same universe but just with a different cast and at a different point in time. You mentioned Avatar, it could be like how they added Legend of Kora.

And that's pretty much what Hasbro did with the previous Pony Gens.  :) (Well... that plus giving each Gen a brand new art style, unlike Digimon.)

And that's what I wish for, too!
